always pick the smallest available. So if there is an option of seats at 4 days, 8 days, 12 days and stadium 16; pick 4 days and then the next one, etc.

Are you sure about this? I think you only receive an old, retiring 3* player but your unsigned players should still be there for 7 days waiting for a contract but ineligible to play.

I charge 16 for League, 17 for Cup and Champions League, same level.

It's difficult to make cash until you reach level 5 when things start getting better. If you go to your finances tab, you can see income breakdown.
One tip is do not let any of your players retire...

This is like one of those "you will always remember where you were and when it happened that you read that JF was retiring"..

I am not sure this answers your questions but this is season 45 so there could be some players who are at level 44/45..
