Having the same issue. They seem to downgrade the amount of "free stuff" IMO.
At least you won in your case, in my case ME ruined my season and that is not an overstatement.

This sometimes happens to me, what I do is that i tap the green or blue pack then wait for it to show the 'watch' button...then i exit the menu,go to my training schedule and suddenly X2 is available...
