I'm actually trying to get people to look at the alternative... that this is really just a game. People should just enjoy it or move on - the old saying, "Put up or shut up". Or more succinctly,...
I didn't realise that criticism wasn't allowed unless you were a veteran in the game. My bad.
I think that's where the issue lies. Nordeus obviously wants people to pay real money to play the game. But they also need 'free' gamers too, otherwise the game would only consist of paying players....
I'm critical of the attempt because, basically, at some point someone in your association will be tempted to spend money and that will ruin the game for everyone else in the group. Sure, everyone...
Dude, this is a game. It's not real life. I'm sure the guy/girl who lost the chance for CL next season will get over it.
Let me address your points in turn...
1.I am a manager of two accounts and I have a long-term strategy. My strategy requires me to replace the titular 11 players in one season with new, young,...
Look, don't we ALL want 18 year old players who have amazing stats?
It's a game, so you have to find a way to deal with it.
Every season, your youth academy players are promoted to the full team...
There's no way you can ever control the parameters of any association.
People drop out of games for all kinds of reasons - real life takes over, they get bored, their partner wants them to spend...
There are already scouts which offer you players for T-bucks.
The cheapest are 39T, the most expensive are 69T.
I've not had issues picking up reasonable players from the auctions.
Sure, I'm not...
No, a better solution would be that EVERYONE loses a star every season, regardless of whether they are promoted or not.
That would be the best solution.
To be honest, it would be better if Nordeus just scrapped the idea completely, so it's a level playing field.
I don't have any friends who play this, and I also can't be bothered to set up...
I'm guessing most people don't spend money on the game either.
But at the same time, most people will probably quit the game within a month.
The ones that spend RL money are after a quick fix...
I think you'll find the opposite is true.
Newer players wouldn't be able to participate if they had to play their 65% team against an opponent who's 238%.
Unless your league is full of tankers, it should be possible to win 5 league matches fairly easily.
You don't need to win 5 in a row, just any 5 league matches.
Sometimes, even when you're the best team, you can still lose.
Are you suggesting that Barcelona never lose games? Or Man City?
Or alternatively, just play with 4-5 star players throughout every season.
I'm starting to think that maybe you got your tactics and formation wrong. Why do I think that? Because I've just beaten a team 3-0, and they were rated 114.7% and I'm only 88.6%. That 26.1%...
I'm guessing that the "special personal trainer" is different from the "personal trainer". I mean, the extra word 'special' should be a hint.
Maybe Nordeus just needs to remove a star every season, regardless of whether a team is promoted or not?
So what's the point of making sure your team doesn't lose a star, if it means you can't win...
As usual, make sure you have a strong midfield. Against a stronger opponent, I tend to play a 5-1-3-1:
---------AMC
---MC--MC--MC
---------DMC
DL-DC-DC-DC-DR
----------GK
That's right - I...
I see the word 'tankers' a lot, but I can't for the life of me work out what it means?
Please join our friendly championship.
We're looking for anyone below 75% at the time you join... and then you're welcome to improve your team after joining (using auctions, scouts, training, etc.)....
My understanding is that it's best to choose the academy players that have a rating of 39%, 59%, 79% (or very close to it), so that you only have to train them a few times and they'll suddenly gain a...
Special abilities (SA) require 50 skill points... if you have a fast trainer, then he can maybe get the SA within a season. I'd only recommend training a SA if your player is young, definitely under...
No, the other guy just didn't quote me, so it looks like he's saying what I'm saying.
Either way, I do take on board what he says (that the first few seasons might be easy), but I've got friends...
