Have you tried fixing the time to accurate on your machine? I cannot stress enough how important that is, along with having a strong signal/connection.

Yes, that few seconds is problematic. Most phones and computers synch to correct time automatically unless set otherwise, but apparently some Ipads, that doesn't work. :(
You could try checking...
Settings -> General -> Date & Time -> Set Date & Time maybe?
