I mean they will lose a star after the end of the season. Say if you buy one at 37 quality then they will still be 37 quality but one star less. So that's what I meant by they will be a mid 5* player

Wait until the new season officially starts before buying a scout. If you do it now your player will be a mid 5* player and would be a waste of 50 tokens.
