with this Kind of 4-3-3 you can use some different ways. in a normal mode u can use Long or short passing. i would begin with short and after ~20min you can Change to Long, if you didnt get chances...
In first line it depends on your Team. we dont know your Team and your Players. if your defenders are strong, it wont be nassesary to have a back 4. And it depends on your way to Play. Maybe you want...

I think 4-4-2, 4-4-1-1, 4-3-3, butterfly or 4-5-1 v are great for it. These formations i ve tried. But maybe there*are some more.
i ve never played against it, but i ve tried it myself. by going normal/ attacking, mixed, strong pressing, short, hard/ normal, zonal and offsidetrap.

no i dont think so. now you can try the orders in friendlies. if you are not successfull after trying, you can still choose another Formation. but first you should try this.
i would try it with high pressing and short passes. maybe mixed passes with Counter attacks can be helpful. sometimes you Need the offside trap for high pressing with red arrows on dl and dr.
