u didn't observe one thing.he changed to 3-4-3 during the match and not b4 the match started.dats the difference.nd u cant expect ur formation to win every match 4 u.dats not possible.

u shud definitely play attacking down both flanks,tackling hard,mentality-attacking/hard attacking,whole pitch press

if u have a really good defence and extremely good wingers den 4-2-2-2 is certainly a gud option to choose.i play with dis formation

well this is a suggestion given by Quambu Yassi and it really helped me 4 the 4-4-2 hexagon formation.it might work 4 u even
