How much football do you watch and play IRL?

Some topics here make me think we don't all experience enough of the beautiful game... Or maybe they think the game is full of trolls and bs results and won't watch :confused:

In the last week or two I've seen:

Loss and near loss for 2 of the world's best teams ( Barcelona v. Alaves, ARG v VEN)
Direct red card to goalie (edge of the box, bad tackle)
Goal at 88'
Goal at 93', last moments of stoppage time
7 0 Barcelona v Celtic
11(!) 0 Pachuca over Belize Police United

Btw, that's not my screen. I keep to 4 at once.

I 'm watching more European cup games (CH.L. - E.L. ), World & European Cups and sometimes a derby from countries like Spain and England .
Also weekly highlights of the European leagues.
I 've seen a lot of games and played when I was younger, in amateur level with friends.

EPL(live), Championship(Leeds games if I find a good link) & Scots Premier (live) Champions League & Micky mouse Euro league on the tv, Viking FK & Bryne FK a good few times a season & maybe twice a season back over to Elland road to watch the best team.
Im also down the bookies on a saturday morning as well ;)

We have MLS and NFL, so I can call football "soccer," but there's no such thing as American Football. (edit: unless you mean the AFC...)

You're right though, our WNT do play first rate soccer.

Starting off with the Watford game & ending with RBK v Start game …. a whole sunday of Football

Today is Juve, Real Madrid, Pumas for me. Probably recording Porto, too haha. What do you mean I should get out more?

I follow Liga MX most closely (sorry MLS...). And national team competitions.

Really though, I'd rather be on a field than watching from the couch any time.

I can´t stand the Italian or Spanish league games I´d rather watch norske 2nd division

This is the first season I can watch those leagues live rather than just random classic matches.

I'd watch 2 Divisjon if I could. Then again, I'll drive a mile to the local field to watch u-18 matches.

Italian is really not good anymore, but the LA liga is still a better place for Tactics. But The competition is not stiff. So I kinda agree with you

Atletico v Barca was great. I'm content with the leagues.

Fair enough, It´s probably an age thing but I´ve tried watching the Spanish League over many years & it just does not compare to The english leagues for football.
It´s just all gloss
More likely my lack of interest in Spanish football is the league kick off times for tv… I prefer my football on a saturday / sunday afternoon

The reason why La Liga isn't competitive because Atletico, Barca & Madrid are so consistent. Premier League teams are inconsistent & They are failing in Europe. Spanish Clubs are dominating Europe. Other Spanish Clubs have better quality than Premier League Clubs But Barca, Atletico & Madrid are just too good.

Have you been to many Spanish league games then ?

I haven't been to Europe, unfortunately. We have a winning MLS team a few hours away, and actually decent college teams in the area.

I follow Other La Liga Matches too if I got Time. Villareal, Sevilla, Athletic Bilbao really plays great football. Even Lately Las Palmas are playing great football. Other teams in La liga also plays great football but Barca, Madrid & Atletico are consistent.Even with 87, 90,92 Madrid failed to win La liga. Its sure 3 horse race. But other Teams are also good. Other Spanish team also easily Beat Premier League Teams. Premier League Clubs are just over-rated by Media.

I can safely say you have hatred for EPL ....which is allowed. I will continue to watch it.

Palmas v Real Madrid was an amazing match, very exciting.

Doubt it´ll be as good as Newcastle v Norwich tonight ;)

Mali v Côte D'Ivoire is an exciting one. Love WC qualifiers, get to watch conferences I usually can't.

Argentinian Cup final wasn't airing in my country, but eventually found this, with Spanish radio commentary. It felt like a very exciting T11 match... Looks so similar.

Anyone see the Liga MX final?

Played in 2 legs, 1st ended 1:1 with the Tigres ST, Gignac taking an injury.

Second match Gignac is back, we're 0:0 through most of the match. Red card. Late game there is a big fight around 84', when the dust settled both teams were down to 9 men! Enter extra time. Club America scores first, after a few minutes into ET. Tigres finally equalize a corner at 118'.

Penalty shoot out... Tigres win after their GK makes 3 penalty saves!
