It was important to me to leave an organisation in the strongest possible shape and I believe I have done so. Going forward, I am delighted to take on the roles of both Director and Ambassador for the club.

Great news for me as a Chelsea fan, also for Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal too...

For me hes the greatest manager there is. People talk of mourinho and the likes but if you see what sir alex done with teams like st mirren (my team) and aberdeen its undeniable how good he actually is. We were **** before fergie, he came in and withing 2 seasons we were 3rd in the league, in europe and then won the scottish cup (he wasnt there when we won the cup but it was all players hed signed and his asst manager).

We actually sacked him (the old saying goes decca knocked back the beatles, we sacked fergie)

Then he went to aberdeen and won the cup winners cup.

It will be nice to see who will be next coach at United.

So far, Moyes seems as the only logical choice, Klopp, Mourinho and the FK Molde coach..But apparently Moyes was chosen by SAF

nope, moyes (everton, scottish) will be the new manager

Imo Mourinho wasn't the right fit. Plays just one way. Has nvr stayed at any club long term. Will always want to be the centre of the universe, whereas in uniteds opinion they are always bigger than any one person.
