Goalkeeper vanished

Yesterday, I tried to substitute my first choice keeper to give him a rest in the cup, just like in real life!

The new keeper came in fine, but my first choice keeper - second best and second most valuable player in my team - has just vanished, as if stolen by pixies.

I left it a day in case this was the goalkeeper bug that's been reported before, but he hasn't reappeared.

Can I have him back please?

This was done in the formation tab of the Squad screen.

- Maybe you tab some wrong buttons and sold him ?
