I suggest u to create a new page in which everybody can see how much they paid for a player in the past, so they can sell him at the best price.
In that page we can also now if we bought the player or we had him as "free agent"; in this case if we want to sell him, we can earn much money, cause we buy him for "free".
Actually we have the "news" page in which we can see only few information, and not so far in the past.

For this, we can have a new page, or add this kind of information in the player page (ex. in the contract page), or save more news in the "news page".

Sorry form my english, i tried to explain in a simple way, i hope it will be ok for everybody to understand.

I wouldn't mind if the news at least kept the whole season, but I guess it's too much data....

ok that's true....if it's too "heavy" to store all news, the simple way to solve it, is to put in the contact page the prize u have paid for the palyer....that's it.
