you are saying when adding skill point`s to player and you go over what you want then there should be a minus to take off, rather than leaving and starting to add skill again, if so i agree
If you mean, the minus would give you back skill points to spend. Totally -1 to this idea. Firstly, I don't see the point in taking away values and second, it would just be too easy to train roles and special abilities.

He's asking for a minus sign when assigning earned points. He's NOT asking to remove already applied points. So that when assigning, say, 15 or so points you don't have to clear and start from scratch if you make a mistake.

Gee I wish my players could "newly" gain 30 points, yeah? :D I do think I understand what the suggestion is now, spornybol described it well.
So it would be a nice convenience for those who save skill points.

I would be happy to just get an option to re-learn different SA (or Role) without getting Skill Point back !
For example.. I look at my AMC and ST everyday and wish they could .. erase their Penalty Kick to learn Shadow Strike and One on One Scorer.

He is not suggesting for a removal of skillpoints to re-assign. He is suggesting that when you have (for example) 50 skill points to assign, you can start adding 30 to attack, but then decide that you only want to add 29 to attack and remove 1 skillpoint from attack BEFORE confirming.
Right now if you want to do this, you need to cancel ALL 30 skillpoints to re-assign 29. It's an inconvenience.
