My DC/DMC is number 1 and my goalkeeper is number 4. Last season, number 1 went to a striker and number 6 to my GK.

I would love this idea, I'd imagine that it's been suggested before but I've never seen it. I'd rather have squad number selection when a player is signed, and I see no reason for it to be within the range of 1-22 as well, currently I have up to at least 25. I think I even had 27 once.
