New signed players announce retirement upon signing contract

I signed 2 old free agents this season and they immediately announced retirement upon signing 3 year contracts that they demanded. I did not notice this until I check the contract details through player list.

I suggest these players only demand a 1 year contract on contract negotiation stage. The teams should receive tokens refund if contract cannot be signed. Alternatively, at least a news or pop up box informing the teams is required.
