what is your reason? it would just make the seasons longer

There are not 38 days in a month and Nordeus want a season that last a month at the most. 4 weeks is perfect as far as I am concerned. You know where you stand as to when the new season begins. A season of over 5 weeks would mean a loss of interest for many players who are not challenging for anything.
