I have merged recent threads on this subject, hoping to collect them in one location for better clarity and discussion.
I myself don't like the idea of loans, as I am particular about assigning points, and would have concern about injury (even if they are magically healed, I have bought players before that instantly get hurt, and it makes me wary.) But this is an idea that does get mentioned on a regular basis.

Loaning would be a great idea.
An idea would be to use your friends players, if you have a friendship group playing the game why cant we share loan players between teams.
Giving an option to purchase from friends post loan or outright would be a good use of friends.
