Yellow cards rescinded

If a player picks up a yellow card early in the season this will stick until he gets another and a 1 match ban. Surely, if that same player goes 10 games (for instance) without another yellow card then the 1st card should be rescinded and he should start from zero again as he has been a very, very good boy since the first card. It is unfair to lose a player on day 23 when his previous card was on day 4. Thoughts please.

Sounds like a good idea , but 13 games so half way through season?
