It might be a nice way for some managers to take a 'break' from the game.
Sometimes life can swoop us off our feet so fast that we are left with zero to no time for a lot of our favorite activities (be it a game or something else). So it is completely normal for players to sometimes 'neglect' their teams, which could be hard to recover from. So I completely understand the reasons behind such a suggestion.
I will be forwarding this to the devs! :)
