What is the quality of the teams you are playing? In leagues against all 5*+ teams, an all-academy team isn't very feasible or sustainable.

i'd say the average team quality is about 93%, right now, after first week of the season. highest is just over 100%.

i use the green packs i get in 12 days to power train the 4 star academy player to 6 stars. after that they are on their own. they tend to stay 5+ stars until they are 23-24 and then get replaced by the next generation when they are 26-27 (except now with 25 man squad this will change.)

it doesn't take much to have a good squad really. well, it takes time, but other than that. you get about 60 green packs in 12 days from training ground and by playing games. 10+ more from association games. a few videos per day and you have more than enough for 6+ stars.

and best of all, you don't have to worry about the transfer market.
