Thanks for the suggestion! I'm going to be reporting it to the devs.

How do you think this will better the game for you and the other Managers?

This way you have a lot of more freedom to set up your formation and the players are giving more freedom (creativity)
and its more of a challenge
Example:


You have now more freedom setting up player-positions

And with diagonal arrows you can backup other player-positions example: 3 narrows dc"s can better protect the flanks in attacking by using the diagonal arrows so in defence they are narrow and in attacking they are wide.

And best would be you could setup the arrow left/right up/down and diagonal but no more the 2 arrow directions on a playerposition

If you see Ramsey in the example and he should have the mc/dmc position (topeleven) he plays as a dmc and as mc
so we get more freedom of the postition (tuning)
In defense he plays dmc in attack he plays mc
