Promotion from below eighth position

Seems a silly complaint to make, but I've been promoted even though my team finished ninth.

It was obvious from a few games ago that I wouldn't be making the promotion places, so I started building my team for the following season - buying players, strengthening the squad etc so they could compete properly in the upcoming season.

However, those five star players I've wasted tokens and cash on now suddenly become four star players because the team has been bundled up a level and I'm back to square one not being able to compete against six or seven-star teams who somehow manage to bring a suspiciously large number of fans to their games.

Why? What's the point?

Yes sometimes you get promoted even in the 9th place sadly, it has to do with not being enough teams on the server or something. I feel bad for you mate for all the resources you wasted. Next time keep in mind to finish in the 12 or 13th place but in higher levels even that can be tricky.

some managers just spend a lot of time, know the game in depth and have more success.

I think you're missing the point there. When you're taken up a level even from outside the promotion places you find your 106% team is playing against 125% teams who will have five or six 'supporters' pushing the team possession bonus up to around 15%. It's just not competitive.

there are two points actually

- one is that you promoted from 9th position (and this isn't so rare )
- second is that you 're playing in a strong League vs some active managers with high q teams.

The quality difference is not so big, specially if you manage to be present in the game and oppo manager not.
% bp from supporting is "fake".
Good coaching can beat this.
If you can't make it (till the middle of the season), stay lv in this one.

The simulator controls better the scenario with closer skills.... these 700% or even 340 turns the server itself in a madness that don't know how to react, and yes, time ago the BP had a clear influence IMO; I always defended it, aprox a 13% of BP advantage gave some chances... but right now the super-oversizing of some punctual skills have broken all the sense. and nope,

Im not agree with the idea -now that we talk of "1 particular skill" oversized- of the idea of having players that, as his/her position is ST, the tackling dont matter, so "why we do not have players with only 2 skills ehh? why a ST needs run? or creativity? whats that? is he just trains 4000 hours a week to have the shooting till 500.

C'mon, some sense please.

IMO the simulation, could be better linking antagonist skills.
So-

If you wanna know how to dribble, you "should know too" how the marking is made. Unless one player is mentally so short, so MC2 = E(x)DA=Qenc/e0

So, do a average count of mixed knowledge would result in the use of the player completely.

maybe some dev preferred to watch Jane's Fonda tapes instead of Diego Maradona when was younger :p
