A Cup tournament for associations

Association matches currently take place Friday and Saturday.
How about an Association cup tournament every Sunday.
I realise this would not be possible in the span of 1 season so would stretch over multiple seasons.
It could either be a straight knockout, more like the champions league with an initial groupings then knock out or just group tables.
Some of which would be possible to fit into 1 season.

A cup and some prize tokens for winners/runners up?

No reason a group stage then knockout could not take place in 1 season with group stages 1st 3 weeks then the knockout all on the same day? Would make an exciting last Sunday in the month?
