If you have a 6* team and you are relegated you'll automatically have 7*, +1 star relegated, -1 star, with promotion as well you know... so isn't so easy, and that's why here I come again the the main idea of closing the training for 7*s+ players if one do not promote, otherwise the method could be "lock" the +5* players till one promote again... or so... but isn't so simple.

But what Im suggesting is that we -1 star no matter what. So if you get relegated or promoted your whole team still drops a star. This may be difficult to program but it would be worth working the code imo

Why should this be difficult to program..??

Nordeus can do that , in Association it as already done to all after every season... so why not to all the teams also??

if they stop meaningless events for one time and devote on relegation system everything is possible.
its just that in every company the higher ups care only for numbers.not for casual gamers like us.they are no gamers.
and the devs,well...if silence keeps the bosses happy why bother?
