Why not make the 4 saved formations option available during live matches?

A good feature that was added is the ability to save 4 different formations and with their orders, and the manager can switch between them on the fly. But why it is not available during live matches? It should be something relatively easy to do. Currently, making certain adjustments, for example, removing a striker or a midfielder for a defender or vice versa but putting them to the desired position is a pain during live matches, and the fact that live matches are so short and with the added pressure on the manager, it is even worst. Using touch screen devices makes it furthur worst.

This has been suggested many times by Managers and Mods alike. It would be a good feature indeed.

The 4 saved formations include the players in positions too.
So during the game, if some player of a saved formation isn't in the 11th squad (which happening most of the times), the game cannot use that.

Maybe there could be possible if the formations do not include the players but only the formation and orders.
But personally I prefer to have the saved formations with the players instead of just the formations(that I could use during the match).

Yes, but if you saved a formation, then you sell certain players, you can check what happens. The system replaces the vacant positions with the most appropriate player in the squad. Also, you can quickly swap specifc players to the desired positions. The problem in live matches is more about setting up the desired formation or changing them or make adjustments, especially when using touchscreen devices. Sometimes, by the time someone made the adjustments he wanted, that too, still, somewhat messy, the match could already be furthur by 20-30 or minutes, and if it is in the final 15-20 mins, then the match is over itself.

You can just swap them if it puts a player not in the desired position you want. The important is to be able to switch base formation fast enough in live matches. Swapping a player is something very fast to do, and as long as you not pressed saved, the undesired set-up will not take effect into the live match. So, (1) load formation, (2) swap players as needed and (3) click on save. This is much better than the pain of going to hold severals players one by one, move them to the desirednew position, then do substitutions, then save.

Associations teams should have been different from the normal ones. They could have been consisted of teams made up of a different set of players, which could be bought from another market and that will improve or decline according to age, potential and training. This would have solved so many problems such as tankers, mutants and so on.
