    Retirement after contract?

    My star Midfielder had 3 years remaining on his contract but is retiring at the end of this current season, Should this be allowed? As I've wasted money on renewing the contract.

    If he is an important player you wont be releasing him anyways and will leave accordingly at the end of the season to retire, It's only an issue if you "sack" a retiring player since you have honour the contract whether its 3 seasons or not.
