As for the squad.
Three additions should be enough along with two additional changes, I would try to change: ML/MR for ML/AML & MR/AMR
The additions would be: Striker, ML/DML & MR/DMR
Those changes would allow you to play all formations known to man and counter them all also.
Anything left an additional DCDL/DR with SA Defensive wall, SA also would be a bonus on all the above players. Corner Kick, Free kick, One v One, Play maker.

What formations did the 3-1-4-1-1 get beat with?.

Three defenders is OK against some formations but cautious against the number of strikers you play it against. I only use 3 wide rarely against a single striker and my DC has to be much better even then.

The ML i have is pretty good he just got 6 stars, but i will buy one ML/AML and use'it like a sub, the MR i have i baught today because the one i had was a 3 stars and pretty bad one, i'm going to buy one MR/AMR but i need a good one.
I have at the moment some good tokens and a good budget so i'm going to complet the team. It's good becauze my players all only 18-19-20 years old.

When i got beaten i didn't have these good players, and my oponents had 2 or 3 Strikers and Amc's but i didn't had these good players like my MR and those 2 DC and DMC, tomorrow i have a pretty hard game vs 2nd place, i don't know his tactic because the site it's down i'm gonna update with the tactic when it works .
