It has worked, but only because I use it when I think it will, I change formations a lot. Even in the middle of a match, I move guys around.

Maple Leaf is what my team is built for, though. I have used it pretty consistently as my main formation in this game since about the 2nd season or so (takes time to get so many DMC's.) But a lot of the managers in my League have been my friends awhile and know this, so it is good to be able to surprise 'em with something new.
