Day 1. CUP (Preliminary Rnd, 1st Leg)
ROBOT FC 0-1 LONDON CITY (99.6 v 97.2)
City started the cup campaign out in Cambodia, and came away with a good result against slightly better opposition. In a game with very few real incidents, the decisive point came after 61 minutes, when David Allen produced a perfect cross for Marcos Lepe to power home a header. Hopefully this win will stand us in good stead for the return, having a precious away goal in the bag.

Day 2. CUP (Preliminary Round, 2nd Leg)
LONDON CITY 2-2 ROBOT FC (97.2 v 99.7)
This was a nervy affair for us. Starting the match, 1-0 ahead from the first leg, we never got to relax, because our opponents took a very early lead, to level the tie on aggregate. Fortunately, Ronan Kelly was able to take a pass from Wayne Dixon six minutes later, to restore our overall lead. The score remained this way until the 70th minute when Aiden James made room for himself and fired home to give us the lead on the night. Seven minutes from time, Bano scored his second goal to level the match score again, and put the visitor's in with a chance of progress, because of their away goals. With seconds remaining, a free kick for Robot was stopped by our defensive wall, to give us a 3-2 aggregate win.

Day 3. (League Round 1).
AC GREENFIRE (90.5) 2-2 (97.4) LONDON CITY
City started their league campaign with a draw in Chile. Maybe they could have won, but any away draw is a good result. All the action was in the first half. Calvin Charlton scored his first goal for the club in his league debut, with a fine solo effort after just 6 minutes. Ashtiani equalised for Greenfire, six minutes later. On 22 minutes, Baghgoli fouled Charlton in the box, conceding a penalty. Wayne Dixon stepped up to put us back in front. Charlton was injured in the incident, and was replaced by Chris Pigott. Just after the half hour, Sunden scored another equaliser for the home side, and that was effectively the end of the match, as the second half became a stalemate with no incidents.

Day 4. CUP (Qualifying Round, 1st Leg)
FC LIOTRU (109.3) 2-0 (97.4) LONDON CITY
On the whole, we think we gave a good account of ourselves against our vastly superior opponents from level 18. It was always going to be a hard task, and things weren't made any easier when we conceded a goal after just ten minutes, but the lads kept battling away and it wasn't until the final stages of the match that the home side scored a second. Nevertheless, the home game will see us as massive underdogs. We just hope that we are not humiliated.
Starting XI: L.Bartha, M.Lepe, D.Allen, J.Watts, B.Gonzalez, T.Allen, A.James, D.Goody, S.Noda, W.Ali, W.Dixon

Day 4. LEAGUE (Round 2)
LONDON CITY (97.4) 7-0 (85.9) DARIM
We could hardly have hoped for a better result in our first home game, despite our obvious superior quality. After yesterday's opening away draw, we really struck form here. The match was all but over after just 11 minutes. Sani Negedu opened the scoring after 7 minutes, heading home a corner from Wasim Ali. When we were awarded a free kick on the edge of the area, four minutes later, Shinji Noda blasted the ball home. David Allen added a third just before the half hour mark when he headed home from an Aiden James cross. Into the second half, and Noda again fired a spectacular goal into the roof of the net, to make it 4. Seven minutes later, James claimed a goal for himself, from yet another Ali corner. Towards the end, Chris Pigott got into the goalscoring act with a solo effort, and then Wayne Dixon rounded things off with his own run and shot. Man of the Match went to David Allen who seems to have made the central defensive slot, his own.
Starting XI: L.Bartha, M.Lepe, D.Allen, J.Watts, B.Gonzalez, S.Noda, S.Negedu, A.James, W.Ali, C.Pigott, W.Dixon

Day 5. LEAGUE (Round 3).
FC SYRIANSKA (91.0) 4-4 (97.4) LONDON CITY
Our away trip to Sweden produced an all action match, with both sides going for goal and not concentrating too much on defending. I think we maybe underestimated the opposition a little, by putting some of our reserves into the starting line-up. Manzizila and Aguilar put the home side two goals up, just after the half hour. We looked to be struggling, but Aiden James gave us hope when he made a goal out of nothing, just before the interval. Nine minutes into the second period, Koch fouled Calvin Charlton in the box, and the referee gave us the penalty, which Wayne Dixon blasted home. Manzizila restored the lead for Syrianska, but substitute Chris Pigott equalised again almost immediately. With thirteen minutes left, the home side once more regained the lead, through Brady, but we battled on and were rewarded late on, when Dixon threaded a ball through to James, who finished with ease. The table sees us in 6th spot, still unbeaten, but four points adrift of the two joint leaders.
Starting XI: R.Williams, D.Jones, D.Allen, J.Watts, M.Wood, S.Noda, S.Negedu, A.James, W.Ali, C.Charlton, W.Dixon

Day 6. LEAGUE (Round 4)
LONDON CITY (97.5) 5-0 (85.2) FC BAHMUT
A good home win keeps us on the heels of the leading teams. Wayne Dixon managed to weave his way through, to open the scoring after just nine minutes. Vener Chekmarev added a second on 38'. Just as the half was finishing, Chris Pigott set Sergio Bilbao to score our third. Three minutes into the second half, Dixon made a chance which Aiden James finished off. Bilbao finished the scoring by heading home a Chekmarev corner with 17 minutes remaining. Chekmarev was consequently made man of the match.
Starting XI: R.Williams, D,Jones, D.Allen, J.Watts, M.Wood, S.Bilbao, V.Chekmarev, A.James, W.Ali, C.Pigott, W.Dixon
Substitution: Murat Ozturk replaced Allen

Day 6. CUP (Qualifying Round, 2nd Leg)
LONDON CITY (97.5) 0-3 (109.3) FC LIOTRU
Our interest in the cup, ended with this defeat (0-5 on aggregate), against our Italian visitors. After losing the first game 0-2, we needed to make a good start, but the reverse happened. Devins scored after only 2 minutes, to effectively finish the tie. It was two after just 12 minutes, and then when the referee awarded Liotru a penalty, from which they scored on 23', the tie was all over. We switched to all out attack after this, and with due credit, we managed to play the remaining 67 minutes without conceding again. So now its just down to playing league matches for the rest of the season.
Starting XI: L.Bartha, M.Lepe, D.Allen, J.Watts, B.Gonzalez, V.Chekmarev, A.James, S.Noda, W.Ali, C.Charlton, W.Dixon

Day 7. LEAGUE (Round 5)
DON FC (89.3) 0-4 (97.5) LONDON CITY
Our first ever visit to Aruba produced our first away win in the league, after 2 draws. The match turned out to be easier than we had expected. Wayne Dixon set up Calvin Charlton to score our first on the 20' mark. When Saucedo conceded a penalty after 32, Dixon stepped up to fire past the 'keeper. In the 70th minute, Vener Chekmarev made a goal for himself to increase our lead. And then with eleven minutes left on the clock, the Dixon/Charlton duo, combined again to produce a replica of the opening goal, to make the game safe. Captain, Jonathan Watts collected another man of the match award.

Day 8. LEAGUE (Round 6).
LONDON CITY (97.5) 6-2 (90.7) PTO ALCUDIA
The first of our seasonal matches against our old rivals ended with one of our best ever results against them. It took just ten minutes for Aiden James to conjure a goal, to put us ahead. Six minutes later, Calvin Charlton supplied a pass that Wayne Dixon planted firmly into the net. Telanov pulled one back on the half hour, but two Shinji Noda strikes gave us a useful 4-1 lead at the break. Ten minutes into the second half, Gimenez reduced the deficit for Alcudia. Charlton added a fifth for us, finishing off a move from Murat Ozturk and he got his own personal second goal with six minutes remaining. The sponsors decided that Charlton's contribution merited the man of the match award.
Starting XI: L.Bartha, D.Jones, D.Allen, M.Ozturk, B.Gonzalez, S.Noda, V.Chekmarev, A.James, R.Kelly, C.Charlton, W.Dixon

What arrows put players on which blue in which red, and what are the settings for your mentality Passes> challenges> Security (zonal or staff) Do you use counterattacks and offside trap.
Formation????
To answer your questions, (you might be surprised). All my settings are set to normal (tackling, attack and defence). I never use arrows at all. Neither do I use offside trap or counterattacking. Everything is set to just AVERAGE if that's the way to put it.
As for formation, 95% of the time, I use classic 4-4-2. And I don't change my formation whatever my opponents play.
hey, that's something I like, " to have a philosophy" and don't change the formation every 2x3 :) ...really I think that this loyalty to a formation have to have a bonus... and if one change it for 3rd, 4th, 5th time in a match, have to have a (-%) of posesion, or something. but...(-.-)*
...I use like u, 95% times, but the 4-3-3 :)
Day 9. LEAGUE (Round 7).
FOREST RANGERS (95.8) 2-2 (97.7) LONDON CITY
Before this match started, I would have happily settled for a draw, considering our opponents were joint top. However, being two goals in front with a little over twenty minutes left, it was disappointing to come away without a win. Shinji Noda gave us a good start when he forced the ball home after good work by Calvin Charlton. Just on the half hour, Charlton again weaved some magic, this time for Wayne Dixon to finish off. With a two goal lead at the break, we were confident, as we had dominated the first period. The second half was more even, but it wasn't until a dubious penalty was given against David Allen on 67', that the match changed. Shim scored from the spot to reduce our lead, and within three minutes, Forest were level when Omrani fired home. Despite sustained pressure on our defence, we held on to a priceless point. The consolation was that Calvin Charlton was named man of the match for his two assists.
Starting XI: L.Bartha, M.Lepe, D.Allen, T.Allen, B.Gonzalez, S.Noda, V.Chekmarev, A.James, R.Kelly, C.Charlton, W.Dixon
Substitution: Wasim Ali replaced Kelly

38'...Peters gets a yellow card
67'...David Allen concedes a penalty and gets a yellow card
67'...SHIM scores from the spot
70'...OMRANI gets an equaliser
81'...Wasim Ali replaces Kelly
Day 10. LEAGUE (Round 8).
LONDON CITY (97.7) 0-0 (92.2) MOTAGUA FC
There's not much can be said about this poor, scrappy game. It was probably our worse performance in the league this season so far, and also the first time we have failed to score. The game had very few highlights, the main one being a red card for the visitor's central midfielder, Arguello after just 24 minutes. But despite playing against ten men for three quarters of the match, we still couldn't find a way through. Astonishingly, for a game without a single shot on target from either side, our goalkeeper, Laszlo Bartha was made man of the match.
Starting XI: L.Bartha, M.Lepe, T.Allen, J.Watts, B.Gonzalez, S.Noda, D.Goody, A.James, R.Kelly, C.Charlton, W.Dixon
Substitutions: Vener Chekmarev replaced Goody, David Allen replaced Allen
Man of the Match: LASZLO BARTHA

73'...David Allen replaces his brother Tom Allen
[SIZE=3]Day 11. LEAGUE (Round 9).
FC BLUE KINGS (81.1) 1-5 (97.7) LONDON CITY
For seventy minutes of this match, it looked as if we were going to be frustrated with a third successive draw, but a double substitution changed the game into our favour. It started well, when Wayne Dixon dribbled his way through and fired us ahead. It remained at 1-0 until halftime. Right at the start of the second period, Essemlali grabbed an equaliser. The game turned when Sani Negedu was injured by a poor tackle after 55 minutes. Vener Chekmarev replaced Negedu, and shortly after, we sent on Calvin Charlton for Chris Pigott. Suddenly we took complete control and three goals in less than three minutes, made it far more comfortable for us. Charlton got the first, taking a pass from Dixon to put us back in front. Less than a minute later, Shinji Noda blasted another, and straight from the restart we won possession and Declan Jones set up his fellow defender, Marcos Lepe to get our fourth. With time running out, Chekmarev scored from a free kick to complete the rout. Declan Jones claimed man of the match.

Day 12. LEAGUE (Round10).
LONDON CITY (98.0) 1-3 (93.9) REAL MONTE
Our first league defeat of the season leaves us three points behind today's opponents, who went top. The only goal of the first half, saw us trail at the break. We made a substitution on the hour, and it seemed to work to start with. as Calvin Charlton set up Wayne Dixon for an easy finish, to level matters. But two goals in the last six minutes gave all three points to our visitor's.
Starting XI: L.Bartha, D.Jones, D.Allen, J.Watts, B.Gonzalez, S.Noda, V.Chekmarev, A.James, R.Kelly, C.Charlton, W.Dixon

City got back into the winning way with this win in Vietnam. Once again, we fell behind early on, but Aiden James levelled, with a fine sol effort, just four minutes later. LONDON CITY (98.0) 0-1 (96.0) NAYINTER FC
A second successive home defeat has dented our chances of the title, even more. A game with more yellow cards than goals, just about sums up this turgid affair. The game's only goal came after 28 minutes by visiting striker, Hauser.
Starting XI: L.Bartha, D.Jones, D.Allen, J.Watts, M.Wood, S.Noda, V.Chekmarev, A.James, R.Kelly, C.Charlton, W.Dixon

Day 15. LEAGUE (Round 13).
FC CHELZEA (90.4) 3-3 (98.0) LONDON CITY
Another draw for us during this indifferent spell we are having. It all started so well, when first Wayne Dixon finished off a fine corner from Vener Chekmarev after just seven minutes. Three minutes later, and it was two after Dixon turned provider and crossed for centre back, Murat Ozturk to head home. But Seo pulled a goal back before the half hour, and then Flores grabbed an equaliser before the break. Fifteen minutes from time, we fell behind to a Tanfield goal, but fortunately, substitute Calvin Charlton found Dixon with a perfect pass, and Dixon did the rest. Our defender, Declan Jones was awarded man of the match.

Day 16. LEAGUE (Round 14).
LONDON CITY (98.0) 2-1 (90.7) AC GREENFIRE
We came away with a valuable win in this ill tempered match which saw our manager, Billy Wheeler sent to the stand, and injuries to two of our players, including the league's leading scorer, Wayne Dixon. Dixon opened the scoring with a solo effort on 23 minutes, and we led 1-0 at the interval. After the break, things really turned nasty, and winger Sergio Bilbao was injured after a crude tackle by Sunden. Just over ten minutes later, Dixon was also injured after another hard tackle, this time by Pavez. Almost immediately, Lanaras forced an equaliser. The tackles were still flying in, and Martin received his second yellow of the match, to leave Greenfire to play the last six minutes with ten men, during which time, Aiden James produced some magic and blasted our winning goal. Despite missing the final half hour, Dixon still won the man of the match award.
Starting XI: R.Williams, D.Jones, D.Allen, J.Watts, M.Wood, S.Bilbao, V.Chekmarev, A.James, W.Ali, C.Pigott, W.Dixon
