Assess my team , am I getting this right?

My team ek rangers in season 2 thought I was doing ok till yesterday with a left sided team sitting top of table came up against a team near bottom of table and lost 3-0 at home , shockerooni ! Can any experienced managers tell me if squad is looking to be going right way? Any definite must do / must not do tips ? Very new but enjoyed so far as not getting beat too often yet would like to know if I'm going in right direction .

U didn't post pics we can't see ur team..
Do/don't: keep ur squad fit and with good morale for all games, don't overtrain or play too many friendlies.
Know some tricks about formations, like if the guy has amc you play dmc or 3 dc if he has no wingers ect.. Be flexible, even changing formations during game if u see its not working out superbly...
Be a ninja on the transfer market, grab good quality young players as much as u can..
Watch ur games as often as u can, makes a huge difference
And many other stuff lol.. Read the guides on here they r pretty helpful
