Palace Casuals made heavy weather of this game of evenly-matched teams. The visitors took the lead on the half-hour, and it took an inspired striker substitution late in the game for the equaliser, Reda Mourad striking his second of the season with 5 minutes to go to make the final score a 1-1 draw.

The last rites were served before this match even started, and Palace Casuals gave a last defiant performance to close their Champions League campaign for this season. With a large deficit from the 1st Leg this game was only about pride, and Casuals game a much improved performance, scoring two goals in a 2-6 defeat, losing 2-12 on aggregate. Omar Hansen is having problems with his direct free-kicking at the moment, and chose discretion when presented with a set-piece in the 37th minute, his side already 2 goals down. Crossing high, the ball was met by the head of Reda Mourad, and the visitors had gone one better than in the home Leg. Into the last quarter of the game, and 1-4 down, Midfielders Suhail Kamal and Emrah Topalan combined for another goal, Topalan converting a Kamal cross to reduce the deficit. Late on, however, two bookings for the Casuals, David Zhelev and Kamal being the recipients, two free-kicks and two goals for the home side completed the scoring.
