Only Leandro Alves remains an active part of my attack. Djivas is still a part of the squad, hardly integral though. Everyone else is gone 2 seasons later.Quote:

Suffered the first league loss. Was playing okay and had 3 of 4 shots on target after 20 minutes. I panicked because of the recent goal-scoring difficulty, switched to a super-attacking system Vs a 6-man defence and of course, opposition hit it on the counter.

Pretty sure this is the most competitive league I've ever been in. Only 8 points separate #1 and #8 halfway into the season. No one has any idea who's taking the title. Strengthening your team at any point could be an advantage. It's a lot of fun.Quote:

Started pretty impressive but not exactly trusted AMR Georgiev Vs 4% inferior opposition. Involved in all goals, scoring 2 and assisting 1. Georgiev started a 2nd consecutive league game as AMR and look what he did. Ditto Djivas. And Lojas! That's his 6th league goal in 4 games. Couldn't believe the number of clear chances my AML missed in this game. [yup, out in the QFs, 5-1 first leg loss in a game I forgot to watch. Man, I was shocked. Totally unexpected 'cause opposition was a guy who was in like 8th in my league after having lost 4 games. Didn't bother watching the second leg. No way you come back from 5-1 down Vs quality opposition, doesn't matter who you think you are.]
