The CL - Draws: Balkan Boyz face "ACF Powerlifting" in the Final-eight!

Saturday's draw was the biggest talking point of the day in the Club house, as Balkan Boyz were drawn against the English team "ACF Powerlifting" while their friends, -ZEO Team- face "Beauteville FC" from England (United Kingdom) as well. Manager -Ljepoje- stated earlier that it will definitely be a very tough game in all aspects, but not a impossible task.
In additional he added "If we look at the draw, especially the teams that we could and probably would end up facing in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, then we could say we "got" lucky since mostly of them are all at Q35. The only team that could make it "tough" for us are "LS11" who are at Q41.7 and that we could face in the semi-finals. That's also a team who our friends from Switzerland -Dynamo SWAG- are playing against in the T11 CUP final-eights. And what we have seen so far, they aren't that "good" as they look since Dynamo SWAG won the 1th leg with 8-0 at home. Now, if we look at the other "half" of the draw and the teams that are playing against each other, it's definitivly tough and hard to predict who could get through and end up playing in the finals. ZEO team (Q43,3) are the favourites, but Beuteville FC (Q42,5), TrazbonSpor SK (Q43,4) and TanerGS FC (Q43,2) aren't that far behind. So as you can see, they will have a much harder and tougher way to reach the finals since they all face good and tough opposition, no matter if we talk about the final-eight, quarter or semi-finals. But we are going to focus and concentrate on our games and our opposition in a attempt to reach the CL Finals. Our main goal is to reach the finals and defend the CL title from last season, we're going all the way!"

The Balkan Boyz avoided any slip-ups against "Fenerbahçe F.C", finishing off the Turkish team with a 4-0 win Saturday at "Balkan Boyz Stadium",to seal a spot in the Champions League quarterfinals 9-1 on aggregate. Holding a 5-1 lead from the away leg, The Balkan Boyz started at their best and had a couple of goal opportunities the first 5 minutes. But it was Hasan Salihamdžić who lead the Balkan Boyz forward as his shoot in the 10th minute resulted in a goal and 1 - 0 was a fact. Stevan Jovetić extended the lead a couple of minutes later to 2 - 0, Ivica Olić to 3 - 0 after Sead Kolašinac outrunned the Fenerbahçe defenders and Stevan Jovetić made it to 4 - 0 before end of 1th half. The Turkish started to panic and made a couple of substitions in the 1th and 2nd half, switching their formation to a more attacking 4-3-2-1 formation and then to a 4-2N-2W-2 formation, going "all-in" and pushing forward. But nothing seemed to pass the Balkan Boyz defence.
Manager -Ljepoje- seemed satisfied with the performance of his team and in a short post-game interview he said,"Overall, I am very satisfied with the way we played and won the game. We played offensively attractive football and scored 4 goals before the 1th end half, and at the same time we managed to keep a clean sheet and didn´t concede a goal either. Our GK Asmir Begović did a splendid job and made some great saves as Fenerbahçe F.C pushed forward. Also our defenders performed exceptionally well defensively, Vidić,Lulić, Vranješ, Srna and Kolašinac did a great job as well! I think we should be satisfied with what we accomplished. I hope we can repeat the same game and performance against Orchard Utd in the quarter-finals next week".
In other news, Balkan Boyz managed to beat the Spanish team "At.Leones FC" with 7 - 0 after goals by Luka Modrić (x3), Ivica Olić (x1), Mario Mandžukić (x1) and Edin Džeko (x2). A game in which Ivica Olić was declared as MoM (rate:9) and Lorik Cana got injured. The win means that Balkan Boyz holds onto first place with 33 points and are 3points clear in front of the Israeli team "Iztik Yan" (30points) with FC Kula at a 3rd place (27points) and Vanspor FC at a 4th place (23points). Balkan Boyz will play the German team "FC Pest" tomorrow away at 21:48CET. But before the league game, Balkan Boyz are set to play the 1th leg in the CL final-eight against the English team "AFC Powerlifting" away. The kickoff is set at 19:15CET.

The T11 CUP - Draws: The "Clash of the Titans", Balkan Boyz face Filipiniana/english Orchard Utd in the quarter-finals!

Sunday's draw was the biggest talking point of the day in the Club house, as Balkan Boyz were drawn against the Filipiniana/english "Orchard Utd" in the quarter-finals while their friends, -Dynamo SWAG- face "Nbm" from The United Arab Emirates. As the Balkan Boyz come in hot after a 9-1 aggregate victory over the Turkish opposition "Fenerbahçe F.C" in the quarterfinals, the draw couldn't have been tougher for Ljepoje's club as "Orchard Utd" is considered as the "Big Trojka" together with Dynamo SWAG and Balkan Boyz. All clubs are rated over +50Q.
Manager -Ljepoje- stated earlier that it will definitely be a very tough game in all aspects, but not a impossible task. "That's probably the toughest draw we could have got, and perhaps a little bit of unluck. It will definitely be a very tough game in all aspects, but not a impossible task".
The two teams have played each other two times before, in the T1 CUP semi-finals last season. Orchard Utd won the 1th leg with 3 - 4 after Daniel Harding’s goal in stoppage time, ending the Balkan Boyz dreams and was left empty-handed and therefore eliminated. This season, Balkan Boyz are desperate for revenge against Orchard Utd!
Manager -Ljepoje- said earlier today that they "are seriously preparing for a very difficult game against Orchard Utd",since they tend to play similiar and pretty attractive football". -Ljepoje- continued, "It is important for both teams, whenever you play for progression to a semi-final it’s a crucial one for both teams. All these games are intense, hard and sometimes tend to end with unexpected results”. But he added,“all I ask from my players is that they give 100% out there on the pitch. We have plenty of respect for them, as we do for any other team. Respect – but not fear. We know it’ll be a difficult game, but we aren’t afraid".
The first leg of the quarter-final will take place at the "YNWA" stadium Monday at 16:39CET, with the second leg at "Balkan Boyz Stadium" scheduled for Wednesday at 23:43CET. If Balkan Boyz makes it past Orchard Utd, they will be playing the semi-finals against the winner between Always United (England/UK) and FC Köln (Italy). Other intresting games are: Dynamo SWAG (Swiss) vs NBm (United Arab Emirates) and RSCA Anderlecht (Belgium) vs Ryet FC (Sweden).

The Balkan Boyz claimed a stunning 1 - 3 win and overcame their biggest opponent, Orchard Utd in the 1th leg of the T11 CUP Quarter-finals at "YNWA" stadium this Monday afternoon. The win was the Balkan Boyz first in the two meetings between the two sides, with the hosts leading throughout before putting the foot down to finish with a flourish 3 goal show and therefore keeping their semi-finals hopes alive. “We all knew that this would be a tough game, perhaps the toughest game as far as having to face Orchard Utd in the quarter-finals since they are a highly respectable opponent. This is probably one of the most important win in the Balkan Boyz T11 CUP history,” Manager -Ljepoje- said during a press conference this evening.
But it was Orchard Utd who went into halftime with a 1 - 0 lead before Stevan Jovetić equalized for the Balkan Boyz in the 57th minute. A couple of minutes later, Edin Džeko managed to put The Balkan Boyz ahead after a superb free-kick before assisting Hasan Salihamidžić to his 1 - 3 goal. Balkan Boyz had a great opportunity to equalize in the 39th minute to 1 - 1 when they were awarded a penalty kick, but GK Reina saved Salihamidžić's shoot. The home team were slightly better in the 1th half, as they managed to put The Balkan Boyz under considerable pressure. But an early tactical change and a substitution in the 2nd half changed the game completely, and The Balkan Boyz overtook the game more and more, creating goal-scoring opportunities that finally paid off.
Manager -Ljepoje- seemed satisfied with the performance of his team and in a short post-game interview he said,"Overall, I am quite satisfied with the way we played and won this important game. We played offensively attractive football and scored 3 goals, despite the flat performance the first 45 minutes. All of our players performed exceptionally well, both offensivly and defensivly. And our GK Asmir Begović did a splendid job and made two grat saves as they pushed forward the last quarter. I think we should be satisfied with what we accomplished, as a 1 - 3 result is more then a good result and I hope we can repeat the same game and performance as we did tonight on Wednesdays return.".
In other news, Balkan Boyz managed to beat the English team "London Hotspur" with 0 - 6 after goals by Edin Džeko (x1), Stevan Jovetić (x2), Lorik Cana (x1) and Mario Mandžukić (x2). A game in which Stevan Jovetić was declared as MoM (rate:9).The win means that Balkan Boyz holds onto first place with 39 points and are now 4points clear in front of the Israeli team "Iztik Yan" (34points) who managed to draw against "Scally United FC" (0-0) this evening. FC Kula hangs on at a 3rd place (33points) and Vanspor FC at a 4th place (26points). Balkan Boyz will play their rivals from Sarajevo tomorrow, "FC Kula" at home, the kickoff is set at 14:45CET. Later on that evening, Balkan Boyz are set to play the 2nd leg in the CL final-eight against the English team "AFC Powerlifting" at home. A game which has no big impact since The Balkan Boyz took a comfortably 1 - 8 win in the 1th leg and therefore secured a quarter-final spot. The kickoff is set at 20:36CET.

Balkan Boyz collected an easy 2nd leg win in their Champions League final-eight game against "AFC Powerlifting" Tuesday evening at "Balkan Boyz Stadium" in front of 19,000 cheering spectators. The Balkan boyz dominated most of the game and had a 64% possesion in their favour, creating goal-scoring opportunities after opportunities which resulted in 4 goals after 90 minutes play. The win gave the Balkan Boyz an incredible 12 - 1 aggregate victory over AFC Powerlifting! Balkan Boyz will face the Turkish opposition Galatasaray AŞ in the quarters, a opponent that is considered as much weaker opposition than AFC Powerlifiting, with a quality of 34,9.
In other news, Balkan Boyz lost their league game against the Bosnian team "FC Kula" with 0 - 1 after a early goal by Christian Doicaru in the 31th minute. A game in which The Balkan Boyz dominated, having 65% possesion and creating far more chances then FC Kula. Manager -Ljepoje- was left hugely disappointed after losing to their rivals from Sarajevo and therefore dropped three important points , saying that "We lost a game at home that we could have and should have won, regardless and no matter what! The result itself didn't reflect the game, and we seem to lose every league game when we are giving the opportunity to get +4 or +6points ahead of the others. It's like a vicious cycle, it keeps hitting us over and over again. It's like a game in which you become hunted or the one that keeps hunting. I have no future comment". The unexpected result means that Balkan Boyz holds onto first place with 36 points and are only 2points clear in front of the Israeli team "Iztik Yan" (37points) with FC Kula at a 3rd place (36points) and Vanspor FC at a 4th place (29points). Thanks, It's nice to hear! :D
I'm a quite "newbie" myself, started to play 26/01, but wasn't that active from the beginning. It was from lvl 4 that the game became interesting. You just need to find your own game and enjoy playing it. I only bought T this season because I wanted to try&see how it is to be on the top and among the "best". And of course, have and maintan a team in accordance with my wishes.
Good luck in the return! :)

Balkan Boyz qualified for the T11 CUP semi-finals 4-3 on aggregate Wednesday despite losing to Orchard Utd 1-2 in the quarter-final second leg at "Balkan Boyz Stadium". The Balkan Boyz withstood a second-half onslaught from Orchard Utd to qualify for their second successive T11 CUP semi-final 4-3 on aggregate, despite losing 1 - 2 on the night. Already leading with 1 - 3 from the first-leg last week, it took The Balkan Boyz just 43 minutes to build on their advantage as Edin Džeko crossed for Hasan Salihamidžić o to prod home from close range. However, after Stevan Jovetić and Ivica Olić had missed a guilt edged opportunity to double the tally on the night in the opening of the 2nd half, Orchard Utd produced a remarkable comeback as Daniel Harding thumped in an equaliser from the edge of the box in the 69th minute and made 1 - 2, 8 minutes later just as The Balkan Boyz made two substitutions. Balkan Boyz managed to put pressure the last quarter and had two goal-scoring opportunities after a Edin Džeko free-kick and a Nemanja Vidić's header, but GK Reina excellently saved for the guests. As it stands, Balkan Boyz will face the Italian FC Köln in the semi-finals, while their friends "Dynamo SWAG" will face the Dutch team "RSCA Anderlecht". The 1th leg will be played at Sunday and the return at Tuesday.
Manager -Ljepoje- seemed satisfied with the performance of his team despite the 1 - 2 loss and in a short post-game interview he said,"Overall, I am quite satisfied with the way we played and the way we approached Orchard Utd in this crucial and important game, despite the loss. We didn't play as good as in the 1th leg, but we didn't play bad either and I think a draw could have been a more fair result. They weren't better than us,as we created more and had the game in our favour. But then they got 2 quick goals the same minute we made two substitutions and that was it. I don't know if that was fair or not, perhaps just bad luck. But I'm glad that we are through and I believe we deserved it more then they. The semi-finals against FC Köln will be a pleasure and an honor to play and I seriously hope we will make it to the finals this season, perhaps end up facing Dynamo SWAG?, who knows!".
In other news, Balkan Boyz managed to beat the Turkish team "TuC FC" with 5 - 0 after goals by Adem Ljajić (x1), L uka Modrić (x1), Mateo Kovačić (x1), Stevan Jovetić (x2) and Mario Mandžukić (x2). Balkan Boyz was left surprised tonight in their Champions League quarter-final game against "Galatasaray AŞ", as they managed to collect a hard earned 4 - 2 win at "Balkan Boyz Stadium" in front of 19,000 cheering spectators. The Turkish opposition started the game with a very offensive-minded system and had 3 goal scoring opportunities the first 35 minutes, but GK Asmir Begović cleared the ball away. And just as Galatasaray AŞ seemed to take the lead, Ivica Olić made a breakthrough and scored 1 - 0 for the hometeam. 4 minutes later, a Jovetić corner found the head of Edin Džeko as he extended the lead to 2 - 0 just before the end of the first half. Galatasaray AŞ made a couple of substitutions in the beginning of the second half and managed to reduce the score to 2 - 1 through Mohammed Salem, assisted by Burak Yilmaz. But once again, Balkan Boyz responded well and Hasan Salihamidžić's shoot in the 58minute got Balkan Boyz a 3 - 1 lead. Galatasaray AŞ tried to put some pressure on the hometeam the last quarter by making another offensive substitution, but it was Luka Modrić's long shot who got the Balkan Boyz a 4 - 1 goal just before Christian Arturo Castro scored Galatasaray AŞ second goal to 4 - 2.
Manager -Ljepoje- admitted that he was surprised to see his side concede 2 goals in their quarter-final game against Galatasaray AŞ in the 1th leg at "Balkan Boyz Stadium". "Galatasaray AŞ surprised us tonight, they were far better than we had expected and outplayed us in the first 35 minutes. Perhaps we underestimate them. I believe that we need to have a look at how we approached this game because our tactics and set –up did not work today. We need to regroup and try to salvage our campaign to reach the semi-finals. This result was just not acceptable".
In other news, Balkan Boyz managed to beat the Turkish team "Vanspor FC" with 1 - 4 after goals by Ivica Olić (x2), Stevan Jovetić (x1) and Mateo Kovačić (x1). A game in which Ivica Olić was declared as MoM (rate:9). The win means that Balkan Boyz holds onto first place with 45 points and are 2points clear in front of the Israeli team "Iztik Yan" (43points) with FC Kula at a 3rd place (42points) and Colchoneros CF at a 4th place on 26points. The Balkan Boyz managed to overcome the Israeli team "FC Niro" with a 0 - 3 away result, in which Stevan Jovetić, Edin Džeko and Adem Ljajić all scored a goal each. In the four friendly games against FK Omladinac, Angel Utd, Sportski Klub and Balkanceros the Balkan Boyz scored a total of 24 goals in which Edin Džeko, Stevan Jovetić, Mario Mandžukić, Safet Sušić, Ivica Olić, Hasan Salihamidžić, Luka Modrić, Sead Kolašinac, Nemanja Vidić and Stipe Pletikosa managed to put themselves on the scoreboard. The Balkan Boyz have 2 games scheduled for tomorrow as well. The first is a league game in which Balkan Boyz will play the Swiss team "Colchoneros CF" away and the second is the return in the Champions League quarterfinals against Galatasaray AŞ in their attempt to secure a ticket to the Champions League semi-finals. Balkan Boyz qualified for the Champions League semi-finals on Saturday after playing Galatasaray AŞ to a 2 - 2 draw in the quarter-final second leg at "Galatasaray AŞ Stadium". The Balkan Boyz started the game brightly in search of an early goal and got it after the shadowstriker Ivica Olić surprised the Galatasaray AŞ defenders and GK Zafer Kurt with a shot from long distance in the 1th opening minute. But Galatasaray AŞ didn't seem to fall back, instead they attacked bravely and managed to put pressure on the Balkan Boyz defence who faced nervous moments due to Galatasaray's quick counter-attacks. Something that payed off in the 22nd minute as Burak Yilmaz equalized to 1 - 1 after a assist by Christian Arturo Castro just before the end of the first half. As the 2nd half began, Balkan Boyz made a defensive substition as Mateo Kovačić was subbed off for Nenad Tomović. But the substitution didn't seem to give any effect, since Mohammad Salem was left unmarked in front of goal to score the 2 - 1 goal for Galatasaray AŞ. Edin Džeko equalized for the Balkan Boyz side in the 58th minute before getting injured 7 minutes later and was subbed off for Mario Mandžukić. Just as Mandžukić entered the pitch in the 73th mintute, the MC Safet Sušić got a nasty injury as well but was left on the pitch since Manager -Ljepoje- already made 3 substitutions. The Balkan Boyz was therefore left 10 man against 11 the last quarter and seemed to just pass the ball around the field to keep the possesion, without making any attempts forward. As the game came to an end, it was obvious that The Balkan Boyz had qualified to the semi-finals as Galatasaray AŞ failed to over turn the 4 goal deficit from the 1th leg. The Balkan Boyz will face "LS 11" in the quarter-finals.
In other news, Balkan Boyz managed to beat the Swiss team "Colchoneros CF" with 0 - 4 after goals by Hasan Salihamidžić (x2), Mateo Kovačić (x1) and Mario Mandžukić (x1). A game in which Hasan Salihamidžić was declared as MoM (rate:9). The win means that Balkan Boyz holds onto first place with 51 points and are 2points clear in front of the Israeli team "Iztik Yan" (49points) with FC Kula at a 3rd place (46points) and Vanspor FC at a 4th place on 35points. Balkan Boyz hosts FC Köln in the first leg of their T11 CUP semi-final game at "Balkan Boyz Stadium" this evening, and according to Manager -Ljepoje- his team are set and ready for the kick off. The Balkan Boyz are expected to start with the flexible 4-5-1V formation against FC Köln's 4-3W-1-2 formation.
The DMC, Mateo Kovačić has been given the opportunity to start from the 1th minute and will be one of the key-players and act as a "overlapping bridge" between the defence and the midfield. Kolašinac, Lulić, Vranješ and Vidić (C) will act as the four-men defense in the backline, while Cana and Ljajić will both start as central midfielders. Olić and Salihamidžić will as usual play left wing and right wing. Edin Džeko will be playing alone at the top. According to -Ljepoje-, Stevan Jovetić and Safet Sušić will be given the opportunity in the 2nd half if the 4-5-1V fails to work the first 45th minutes, in which The Balkan Boyz will apply a 3W-3N-2W-2 or 4-2N-2W-2 formation instead. In a short interview he said, "We decided to take a couple of reasonable precautions in this important 1th leg. First, we need to stop their AMC and ST:s from causing to many problems in the area in front of the goal. Two, we need to exploit their midfield, especially in the central area and focus our attacks through the flanks were we have Olić and Salihamidžic. The choice of one striker instead of two are something that comes granted with the 4-5-1V formation and something we cant impact on. But as mentioned earlier, we will abandon the 4-5-1V if we concede a goal or two in the first half and play all forward with our traditional 3W-3N-2W-2 or 4-2N-2W-2 formation. We just need to stay focus, not panic and be patient". The kickoff is set at 23:20CET.
In the second semi-final game Dynamo SWAG hosts the Dutch "RSCA Anderlecht" at "SWAG Arena". The Swiss team are considered as the favourites in this clash and one of the teams to take a spot into the T11 CUP Finals.
Dynamo SWAG is expcted to start with their traditionaly 4-4-2 W-diamond while RSCA Anderlecht has not yet relieved their formation, but are expected to start with a 3W-1-2_2W-2 formation as in their latest games in the final-eight and quarter-finals. The quality between the teams is remarkable and Dynamo SWAG is accounted and expected to cover and win all battles in all of the 11 positions on the pitch. Dynamo SWAG have all 11 players + 7 substitutions ready, while the Dutch has their playmaker S.Meriosio suspended. The kickoff is set at 22:18CET.

The Balkan Boyz are one step closer to the T11 CUP finals after a Adem Ljajić header in the 45th minute which led his team to 1 - 0 win over FC Köln at "Balkan Boyz Stadium" this evening. The Balkan Boyz started brightly and deserved the early lead in the first end half, while the guests from Germany didn't seem to get past the Balkan Boyz defence as their AMC Lionel Messi was left blocked and put out of play by the DMC Mateo Kovačić the entire 90 minutes. The right winger, Hasan Salihamidžić had two great opportunities to score and extend the lead in the 2nd half, but GK G.Buffon made divine interventions both times. Mateo Kovačić had a great one-on-one opportunity in the 52nd minute, but the shot went off target. GK, Asmir Begović made three great saves as well, the first took part in the 7th minute as Rafal Kolaczyk attempted a half-volley towards the goal. The second save came in the 14th minute as FC Köln was given a free kick after a Lorik Cana foul, while the third save occured as FC Köln had a goal scoring opportunity after a header by Simon Bardak in the 87th minute. The 1 - 0 win at home means that Balkan Boyz holds a firm grip and have a golden opportunity to conclude their buisness in the return on Tuesday.
Manager -Ljepoje- seemed quite satisfied with the performance of his team and in a short post-game interview he said,"I'm quite satisfied with the way we played and won this crucial game on our home turf this evening. We played offensively attractive football and scored an important goal before the 1th end half, and at the same time we managed to keep a clean sheet and didn´t concede a goal either. Our GK Asmir Begović did a splendid job and made three great saves as FC Köln pushed forward. Also our defenders performed exceptionally well defensively, Vidić,Lulić, Vranješ, and Kolašinac did a great job as well! I think we should be satisfied with what we accomplished. I hope we can repeat the same game and performance on Tuesday as we have a golden opportunity to take a final spot and hopefully write history!"
In other news, Balkan Boyz managed to beat the English team "Scally United FC" with 4 - 0 after goals by Adem Ljajić (x1), Mario Mandžukić (x1) Luka Modrić (x1) and Lorik Cana (x1). A game in which Mario Mandžukić was declared as MoM (rate:8). The win means that Balkan Boyz holds onto first place with 54 points and are 2points clear in front of the Israeli team "Iztik Yan" (52points) with FC Kula at a 3rd place (49points) and Vanspor FC at a 4th place on 38points. Balkan Boyz claimed a important 1 - 2 away win and overcame the "LS 11" in their way to a 3rd consecutive Champions League final this evening at "YRA Stadium". The Balkan Boyz were making most headway with Olić and Salihamidžić on the wings, supported by Kolašinac and Vranješ on the flanks. And that’s where the first goal came from, as Kolašinac made it through the midfield and pass through the "LS 11" 3 man line-defense, assisted by Lulić. The second goal came in the 61th minute half as Salihamidžić scored from a long-distance shot and The Balkan Boyz seemed to get a grip on the game. Manager -Ljepoje- decided to make a tactical change in the 63rd and 73rd minute as Mateo Kovačić was subbed out in favour for Stevan Jovetić and Lorik Cana in favour for Safet Sušić, which meant The Balkan Boyz went from 4-5-1V to 4-2N-2W-2. The same minute as the substitution took place, LS 11 made a offensive tactical change and subbed two of their players as well, playing a hard attacking 3-4-3 formation the last quarter. Something that seemed to pay off as LS 11 began to attack bravely and in which R.Peters scored a goal in the final minutes just before the end.
Manager -Ljepoje- seemed quite satisfied with the performance of his team and in a short post-game interview he said, "Well, somebody would say that a 1 - 2 is a "good" result and some would say it's a bad one. I can't put my finger on it since I feel a sense of satisfaction and disappointment at the same time. First, we started of quite well with the 4-5-1V formation. Blocked their AMC and controlled the game, created a couple of great goal scoring opportunities and scored twice. Then the last 20minutes we switched to the 4-2N-2N-2 and our opposition to a 3N-4-3, 5 minutes after. They pushed, pushed and pushed and finally got a goal in the 86th minute, a minuter after they subbed Y.Heo for R.Peters. This means that we need to go "all-in" in the return, and play Džeko + Jovetić from the 1th minute. We could also use Mandžukić as a 3rd striker if needed since we need that CL Finals spot!"
In other news, Balkan Boyz managed to beat the Italian team "Benevento" with 0 - 3 after goals by Safet Sušić (x1), Ivica Olić (x1) and Stevan Jovetić (x1). A game in which Nenad Tomović was declared as MoM (rate:8). The win means that Balkan Boyz holds onto first place with 57 points and are 2points clear in front of The Vietnamese team "Tay Ninh FC" (55points) with FC Kula at a 3rd place (52points) and Vanspor FC at a 4th place on 38points. Edin Džeko struck twice as The Balkan Boyz took a final spot in the T11 CUP after a 1 - 2 victory over FC Köln at "Rhein Energie Stadion" in front of 19,000 spectators on Thuesday evening. The 19 year old Balkan Boyz forward opened the scoring in the 20th minute from a free-kick. And 15minutes into the 2nd half, Džeko scored the winner as he outran the defence to score the winning 1 - 2 goal. FC Köln managed to get a equalizer in the 47th minute as Lionel Messi scored with a header from a corner kick by Christian Carreno. Edin Džeko got a nasty injury in the 80th minutes after a foul by Simon Bardak and was subbed off for Mario Mandžukić. Both Adem Ljajić, Stevan Jovetić and Mateo Kovačić had 3 goalscoring opportunities, but Vladimir Kalyuzhov and Ryan Cook managed to clear the ball away after good defending. The Balkan Boyz will be making their first T11 CUP Finals appearance as they face the Swiss team "Dynamo SWAG" on the 30th May.
Manager -Ljepoje- was delighted by the performance of his team and praised his side's fighting qualities after watching Edin Džeko score twice and put Balkan Boyz into a final for the first time in the Clubs history."We fought well and battled it out and I'm just delighted and honoured. This is just all I wanted, I'm speechless - exhausted and speechless. A final spot in the T11 CUP is every manager's dream. We had so many fans here to support us, despite playing away in Germany. I am glad I was involved in all of this today. It's absolutely massive for the club and I'm glad that we wrote history. Of course it was a tough road, but I never doubted in our strength to fight, despite the opposition. We faced one of the toughest oppositions this year: Hyapool FC From Sweden, NB99 from Denmark, Fenerbahce from Turkey, Orchard Utd from the Philippines and now FC Köln from Germany - this all of the teams that have been playing the final-eight, quarters, semi-finals and finals as well. I couldn't be more then satisfied, delighted and proud of what we accomplished, this is just amazing. I can't wait for the final whistle and the big kick-off against Dynamo SWAG. It will be a honour for us to play the finals in this prestigious competition".

Edin Džeko scored twice as The Balkan Boyz ran out comfortable 3-0 winners against LS11 in the Champions League semi-final 2nd leg game at "Balkan Boyz Stadium" in front of 19,000 spectators on Wednesday evening. But it was the 19 year old Balkan Boyz forward Stevan Jovetić who opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a header from a corner kick by Edin Džeko. The same Edin Džeko struck twice for the Balkan Boyz in the 30th respective 53rd minute from a free-kick and a longshot. If we can take that into the finals then we've got a really good chance to win it as well" He continued and added that, “You know, we are all eager to win, and we have probably one of the best players at this level. With a little bit luck we hope to do our best in the finals against the Turkish side and hopefully win and defend our Champions League Title!”

The T11 CUP Grande finale will be played tonight as Dynamo SWAG and Balkan Boyz go head to head. The former Cup Winners Dynamo SWAG will take on Balkan Boyz, with DS considered as the favourites to take home the title for the second time in a row. Both teams will have a full strength team and the best T11 line up is expected to start. This will be the 1th meeting between Dynamo SWAG and Balkan Boyz since the two teams haven't played each other before.
Manager -Ljepoje- stated earlier that it will definitely be a very tough game in all aspects, but not a impossible task. "This is probably one of the toughest and biggest game in our entire T11 Club history. It will definitely be a very very tough game in all aspects, but not a impossible task. I have confidence in all of my players, everyone can contribute and therein lies the strength of the team. I hope that Stevan Jovetić and Edin Džeko can show good performance and hopefully score a goal or two. All I ask from my players tonight is that they give 100% out there on the pitch. We have plenty of respect for Dynamo SWAG, respect – but not fear. We know it’ll be a difficult game, but we aren’t afraid. I also believe that despite the outcome of the game, it will be considered as a historic game that will change the perspective of our Club and our fans to years to come. But it was the Balkan Boyz winger Hasan Salihamidžić who was at the heart of Balkan Boyz's victory as he concluded the buisness in the 85th minute as he outran the Dynamo SWAG and placed his shot behind GK Roman Bürki. The Dynamo SWAG managed to get 2 goals as Nassim Ben Khalifa's and Jordan Rhodes scored from long-distance in the 55th respectively 62th minute. The left back Senad Lulić was declared as the Man-of-the-match (MoM). Have to admit that Im a bit depressed, but this is ok as I step over several level 6,7,8 teams to reach to the final with non scout players team, versua much stronger level 8 with all crazy stars and lost 1-3 at the end was acceptable anyway....

Balkan Boyz didn't live up to the expectations tonight as they got beaten by the Turkish side, TanerGS in the Champions League Final at "Unknown Arena" on Friday evening. The former Champions League winners Balkan Boyz got beat by 3 - 1 despite Hasan Salihamidžić's early 0 - 1 goal in the opening half. The Balkan Boyz dominated and held up possession in the first 45minute, played offensively attractive football and defended really well at the same time. As the second half kicked off, Edin Džeko got injured and was taken away on a stretcher in which Mario Mandžukić took his place. Just 10 minutes after the nasty injury, the Turkish side managed to build up two counter attacks and score 2 goals in two minutes - the game was now in TanerGS favour. Balkan Boyz manager -Ljepoje- decided to make a offensive substitution by subbing Kovačić off for Sušić, but just before the substitution took place - The Turkish side managed to score their 3rd goal as Didier Drogba smashed the ball pass GK Begović. The Balkan Boyz players and fellow managers were left staggered at the shock U-turn and couldn't believe their eyes - what just happend? The defeat mean that Balkan Boyz didn't manage to defend their Champions League title from last season and will have to search for better luck next season instead.
Manager -Ljepoje- was left hugely disappointed and sad after his side lost the finals, "I am short of words, honestly. I didn't expect this kind of result or over-turn at all. Sure, we knew that they might score a goal or two, but not be able to win the game with +3 goals. I believe we got a total blackout after they scored 2 goals in just 2 minutes, and then the 3rd goal 7 minutes later...After that, there was no way back, it was just all over. I feel sorry for the players, since they put their heart and soul in the early group stage and then in the KO-rounds. A win here, tonight could have been a "sucess story and a happy ending" of a successful season with a few happy moments. But there is nothing we can do at the moment, just accept the fact and go on. We need to recharge and regain since another season is laying ahead of us. Hopefully we can get back up, came back much stronger and loaded with self confidence. I hope that something positive will come out of this, we need to see everything positively from now one. At the end, I would like to congratulate TanerGS for winning their 1th Champions League trophy".
Balkan Boyz captain Nemanja Vidić expressed his disappointment over not being able to win and defend their Champions League title in the final game against the Turkish side, TanerGS. "I am shocked, disappointed, and distressed by the events that have taken place this evening. This loss was just unexpected. I believe there are a lot of disappointed players in our team at the moment. It will take a day or two to melt it down you know, this was just a huge set back for the whole team. I think we need some time to heal and try to get up, even if it's seems as a hard thing to do at the moment".
In other news, Balkan Boyz managed to beat the Spanish team "At.Leones FC" with 0 - 7 after goals by Stevan Jovetić (x2), Ivica Olić (x2), Mario Mandžukić (x) and Luka Modrić (x2). A game in which Stevan Jovetić was declared as MoM (rate:7). The win means that Balkan Boyz are after 25 played rounds with 1 round to play, formally declared as the LEAGUE CHAMPIONS for the 4th time! The game against the German team "FC Pest" tomorrow at "Balkan Boyz Stadium" will end with a trophy ceremony as The Balkan Boyz will be crowned as the new champs. The kickoff is set at 14:47CET

Thanks! :)
Sry to hear, but I believe there is a slightly difference playing and winning the CUP at the new servers vs the old ones... On the new ones (like myself) there are no lower or high valued teams - all teams are from or at the same lvl as you. Of course there is a big gap between the teams that don't manage to qualify and those that end up playing in the KO-rounds (elimination stage). In 85% of the cases, all of the teams that play a final-eight,quarters,semi-finals or finals are T-buyers... That's why I "boosted" my team this season - to stand a chance :D
But hopefully some day you will be able to win it yourself, just don't lose faith or hope :)

In a glitzy post-game ceremony, The Balkan Boyz players were called out of the dugout one by one, their walk to the podium flanked by former greats such as Dragan Stojković "Piksi", Robert Prosinečki, Dejan Savićević, Faruk Hadžibegić and Robert Jarni before undergoing the traditional on-pitch beer shower surrounded by beautiful summer loving bikini girls.
Manager -Ljepoje- received a standing ovation and the biggest cheer from fans as he brought the 10th trophy for the club. According to the local media, he is recognised as one of the most successful club coaches in the history at Level 5.
The Club has announced that The Balkan Boyz will play NewTeam in an glorified international friendly to be held at "Balkan Boyz Stadium" this evening. The T11 Cup winners will face the Champions League winners, with the kick-off scheduled for 22.45 local time.

CUP: Balkan Boyz finished as the T11 CUP Champs in the CUP competition season 5. This was their 2nd CUP trophy and probably the best appearance as they got the opporunity to play against the best players and the best teams, especially against Dynamo SWAG in the finals.

Neatly done, another League Trophy which I guess is the most important part.
Bummer about your CL-final, definitely looked winnable but always 'next year' right? ;)
Looks to be decent money in the Cup this season for me, but I just went 2-1 down away so it'll be a task to turn it around at home. Will probably try and boost my team some as I had some saved-up skill pts.
Unfortunately it looks as if the iranian AMC Scout I bought before the game is a slow as hell trainer. Major buzzkill.
Thanks, yeah it was perhaps one of my best seasons so far :D:D ... We took 3 trophies - in all 3 tournaments (as last season), but this time we got to win our first 1th place CUP trophy which was awesome and honourable. About the CL-final, yeah it was a unexpected loss, especially since we dominated the game and had a 0 - 1 lead for 60 minutes. Then my ST got injured and he managed to over-turn the game and scored 3 goals in 10 minutes, just unbelievable and unrealistic. But nothing to do about it, just hope it goes better next time.
Ok, sry to hear. Just remember and try to go all-in in the return, I have done it before and I'm sure you could as well. A key to win or overturn a neg.result could be if you play with more midfielders then your opponent to gain possesion. But about the AMC, does he get "bad rates" or is he just a "low-valued" scout? I never PT a scout, unless he is 1 - 10SKP from a 7*. I rather buy a 18 yr old and PT him instead, much beneficial. :)
HEADLINE: Tough draw for The Balkan Boyz:"This season is perhaps one of the toughest for us, it will be quite interesting and tense, from the beginning to the end. Almost like playing in the Premier League with Balkan Boyz as Manchester United and the rest top teams as Chelsea,Arsenal,City,Tottenham,Liverpool etc," Manager -Ljepoje- said.

Defending Champions Balkan Boyz have been drawn in a T11 League together with five top teams, such as the Israeli team "RYY HO" (Q50,9), the Spanish team "El Circo" (45,6) and "CD Tenerife" (Q43,6), the Lithuanian team "Ekranas FC" (Q44), the Vietnamese "Duc Manh FC" (Q44,4) and the Bosnian team "FC Kula" (Q40,9). Balkan Boyz will take on the Spanish team "El Circo" in their opening game. The game will be held at "El Circo Stadium" with a kick off set to 15:16CET
One of the toughest opposition is perhaps the Israeli team "RYY HO" (Q50,9), followed by the Spanish team "El Circo" (45,6) and Lithuanian team "Ekranas FC" (Q44). "RYY HO" is a well know team for the Balkan Boyz, since both teams participate in the T11 CUP tournament for the 3rd consecutive time. "RYY HO" got eliminated by the English team "Always United" after 8 - 2 on aggregate. While "El Circo" and "Ekranas FC" are unfamiliar opposition. One of the "weakest" top teams are perhaps the rivals from Sarajevo, The Bosnian "FC Kula". "FC Kula" has dropped in quality and in quantity the last past two seasons and their manager seem to be less active. The rest 8 teams are all around Q30-38 and their squad consist mainly of 2* to 3*.
