but some times we do not lose the stars even when we level up. Is there anyway to find out that we will not lose the stars for the next season before the season ends?

If you finish under 7th place in league, you won't get promoted and the stars won't reduce. Basically, everything played-related stays the same. Except age.

that s not the case. some times even if I finish in first 7, stars not going anywhere. 2 times happened. I just want to know if this will happen, would be good if we know before the season finishes.

Hmm, this cannot happen, unless the player was 1* and stayed 1* after promotion o.O
