Skill points gained in training

Sad! maybe, curious to find out how the game engine is tweaked season by season is my aim. ;)

Last season a started recording skill points awarded during different training sessions.

All three modes were covered, with full squad (22) and also half squad sessions.

Last seasons average given in each mode. red is this season.

Half squad (11)
Stretching: 2---- 1
Cardio: 3--- 2
Practice match 6--- 4

Full squad (22)

Stretching: 5--- 3
Cardio: 7--- 4
Practice match: 14--- 10

It would be interesting to know if anyone else has noticed the difference, of course many factors may well influence points awarded but if it is true that Nordeus believes players are progressing to fast this is by far the easiest way to slow them down, with of course additional injuries picked up along the way.
It's looking to me like around a 35% reduction in skill points over last season.

Also this is my first season where I've picked up 10 points in a competitive game were I won easily with almost 30% more possession, the lowest previous was a 12 in a 1-1 draw last season.

You are using same players?

Roughly same age groups as last season, only changed three players this season.

So all but 3 are a year older, so all bar those 3 would be progressing slower this season, that may account for some of it.

Replaced a 23, 22, 20 with 2x 18 1X 19.
Only four players in the squad are over 21, a; 21, 22, 23, 26yo. Avg, squad age 20.8 with 22 players.
I doubt that would effect the change so dramatically.
