I Just Won w/ Illegal Formation

Got knocked out of the cup because of some BS luck by my opponent thanks to two 90' goals he got in both games. And I'm not doing so hot in the league. The cup was my main focus b/c 3/4 of my league were five points better; in level 6 around 45 quality. And after winning the first two rounds I thought I had a shot. Apparently not. So with both cups out of the water I thought my best bet was to tank the season. I thought "Hey, just put up an illegal formation and let possession take it's coarse." Oh how wrong was I.



This is the first time this season my GK has been in-form. THREE SAVES in the game. Flippin' unreal!

How am I suppose to tank a season when this happens?

That's just messed up ...all it does is make Nordeous look even more stupid!...

How can you trust a game engine that throws up a result like that even though the match involved had an illegal formation and/or a bot "tank" team?!?!?...

Its not impossible to win with an illegal formation. You may get less chances, but its what you do with those chances that counts.. or what the game engine has your players do with those chances.

well, that's bull****

not really.. illegal formation will cost you to lose possession heavily but you are still able to have some rare chances and if you are lucky you can score

Illegal formation doesn't mean an automatic loss and the game will still be simulated. That being said, your opponent's formation looks like they're playing through the flanks and you've got 3 players on each side - it's perfectly logical that you beat him and if you ask me, he didn't even stand a chance.
