Am I doing something wrong?

When I have more than one friend send me gifts (booster packs) I only get one pack added to my total. Is there a way to get the gifts one at a time and why can we only accepts the gift once a day instead of when they are sent?

No because you can only get max of 1 of each booster per day.

Despite this, I recommend always sending a booster back, regardless of how many you get. That way, you have a higher chance of getting the same booster again the next day. Of course, if you're short of one kind of booster, you can always gift that instead and the other player usually gives back
