Nordeus Cup: what the criteria are established opponents ?

wrong criteria

I had a lot of players to 8/9 stars out of contract but counted them equally

I wonder if Nordeus modified it to include players that went out of contract to stop anyone from beating the system? Seems like the only way is to sell off your team.
