what happens to an abandoned team?

pretty sure this wont be in any faq. but someone is inactive for 70 days. what happens to their team? ive read that it gets taken over by someone else? but who, and what league do they start in?

Abandoned teams should feature 3* players, 33-34 years old and not from the team's nation. They are tend to replace players who is going out of contract.

This is a recently abandoned team, or still within 70 days. The team has had first team player contracts expire, but no one has replaced them so gaps appear in the team sheet. When the matches come around, the game automatically fills the positions with players in the squad so that the match can be played
