im really a noob in the cup system and i really dont bother with it i get knocked out on the first round but something strange happened yesterday.

in the first leg i was home, and i lost 0:3 to the guy.
next match i was away and i won 1:4.
so the goals are now equal, there was no extra time,
but i managed to get into the next round.
im not complaining or anything but i would just like to know how
