    It's some huge historical date in the US history, Independance day if I'm not mistaken. Apparently, it's huge enough for the US that some of them believe it's international, hence this thread.

    Yep, I was at Panama City Beach, FL for Independence day last year, fantastic party. And I felt very welcome at it, and a big part of it, which was both lovely and sort of odd...

    Mind you, I've had the same experience on Malaysian Independence day and can't imagine it being different on Canada Day, India's independence day or really any others

    But then, I'm all for any reason to celebrate something

    Lol nobody cares about us canadians... probably cuz nothing interesting ever happens here. guess its better being ignored half the time than to be disliked by half the world :/
