Player rating after game, importance to teamplay.

Hello there.
So one of my players recently ends up having from 5 to 4 rating after game.
Today I lost with "Greek score" (i.e. 1:0). This player received 3. His level of skill is 5 stars.
Question:
Do I simply waste money on such pro players who in reality are garbage?
I just don't get it.

That's DR.
I dnk but my other DR who is far away lower in terms of stats performs a LOT better than this one.
GK is fine from 6 to 9.

I'm just thinking that he is just a simple waste.
Like Torres for Chelsea FC.
Comparing to my Captain who is also 5 star but plays all matches between 8 or 9.

i ever have the same problem like you, but after 4 match like that the player have good rate.

When I get a player whose rating is 4-5, I sell him immediately.

At my 35T team, I signed a player. In his 1st match he plays on low morale, he gets 4 rating. When he play with full morale, he scores a goal and gets 7...
