ROYAL RUMBLE CUP - Last 16, 2ND LEG

Catalin FC 1-3 United Til I Die

    Catalin FC 88.0 4-3N-1-2 - United Til I Die 91.2 4-5-1V

The home side scored right from the kick off, but Ivanov blasted in the equalizer 7 minutes later and we took over, Di Gennaro gave us the lead on 25 minutes and we settled for that at half time, I freshened things up for the start of the second half and sub Da Cunha added a third in the last ten.

Goals: Neesham Smith (1), Ivanov (7), Di Gennaro (25), Da Cunha (80) MOTM: Da Cunha

Team Talk: It was a shock to go behind but we replied right away and played well after that and it was pretty routine and so we advance 6-1 on AGG

The other manager will be raging with that scoreline. Maybe try not parking all of your players in front of goal and place them in midfield because your players will be back defending throughout each game and try the odd counter attacks.

I told you to go with the "walk-over" option. Otherwise you will end up getting a draw or win for that matter.

    LEAGUE ROUND 12

Evangelion 0-1 United Til I Die

    Evangelion 76.3 4-5-1V - United Til I Die 90.5 4-3N-2W-1 then 4-3N-3

Playing the bottom side so should have been easy game but it was far from that, had plenty of possession and a fair few chances, and we got an early goal from McNamara from a beautiful one two from Di Gennaro but the home side were always a threat, so on the hour I took off the wingers and put 2 forwards on which changed it slightly.

    Goals: McNamara (21) MOTM: McNamara

Team Talk: Should have been easy against bottom team but was a close game, we are happy to win 2 games in a row, a special thanks to dv8r for help with formation.

JULY FOURTH PLAYER REVIEWS WEEK 2

    On The UP
    • Alessio Pietropaolo Has continued to find the net on numerous occasions but has also setup many goals this week in what continues July Fourth's form this season.
    • Stacey Papaleo A big improvement from last week with only scoring 1 goal, this week Papaleo has scored more goals than games played to rise to our top scorer so far this season with 13 goals.
    • Ryogo Kusama Has done well in both midfield and opportunities when played a striker and has scored 4 goals this week and could improve in the future, he is 18 and our youth academy product.
    • Al Calavicci Still winning the vital tackles and defending well for us and this is what is keeping our conceded total down to just 5 in the league/CL this season so far.

    Going DOWN
    • Jet Hogan - His early red card put July Fourth in a bit of trouble in one of league games earlier this week, But July Fourth still won the match 3-1, also his overall performance wasn't been great this week
    • Hatsune Miku - Lacking in goalscoring and confidence of late, but Miku is a great player and is the type that can come up with a good performance and a goal at anytime.
    • Chano Petersen - Still playing well, but hasn't made as big as an impact as he did last week
    • Emmett 'Doc' Brown - Rubbish so far, done nothing on the chances he has had in the team, but saying that mind we haven't needed him to produce anything yet, He will be more important in the future seasons as Diamond and Stuart decline.

Alessio Pietropaolo is our POTW for our second week and receives 5 manager points

      Top 5 standings: Pietropaolo 25,Beckett 22,Petersen 16,Calavicci 14,Papaleo 13.
