    yes, through negotiations, but only if you are on the same server

    So how can I know my friends are in the same server?
    If not, can I change it?

    click on your friend's team. find a player that is 4 or 5* for you on his team. When you click on him it should show make offer in the bottom right corner, if it doesn't he is not on the same server and you cannot do anything about it. Also, if his games are not showing in the friends fixtures, he is not on the same server
