how to play counter attack?

When looking at the picture below,

it is in Dutch, but it means: Force the other team to play counter attack...so that would mean that not YOU but the other team is playing defensive and will play on the counter.

Some say that when you select this box, YOU will play on the counter attack.

Is this a bad translation error?

Half correct.

It means you force the opponent to attack you and then you hit them on the counter attack.

So I have to play defensive myself?

I also play long ball and attack through both wings as my formation is 4-5-1V
