What position is a big influence to a match? This is my question,I know all roles are important but there must be a vital position to be a game charger,let me know your opinion :) Personally I think midfield is most important roles in a game,because if you have good midfield they can do many good passes to your striker and can do good defend sometime
Well I guess as long as you have the same or more in midfield than your opponent you will always have a good chance of winning.
Every player can be a game changer in the right circumstance. If you are an attacking team, maybe forward more important?
I like a balanced team. With a really good goal keeper. :p
I tend to play attack attack attack, but leave myself open and leak goals, and hope to score more than them mentality lol. Hope my CL opponent is not reading from Denamrk :eek:

Anyone who had played football anytime know there is not any position more important than other. Every players are important. Everyone.
In this game, i think it also is. Every player add. Maybe the most important player in your squad is who have more skill points, doesnt matter his position.
I have an MC who is out-scoring one of my strikers. I have a DL who is my 4th highest scorer. My GK has only had 3 goals pass him in the league, which has a lot to do with my DC pair also. It's not the position, rather how they perform.

need 4 strong players through out middle, the rest can be whatever the best you can get, although being a good manager is bringing out the best with your resources, thus why teams build style and formation around star players.
It's about the right tactic, if you have a Team which can switch easily to an counter Tactic and is able to play it right... There is no Position which I could say is the best, one of my ST is on of the best Assists in the League and even he made a lot of Goals, the other one make more Goals but is dropping in Assists behind the other one. One of my AML/AMC/AMR make a lot of Goals, most from an Assisting other Player. So I would say: Team-Play over all! All Positions are needed, and all have to do a pretty good job, we are looking more on Assists and Goals, but how often did a defender kept your ass? How often did the Goalkeeper catched the corner ball or the free strike to save the 0?
Believe it all depends on the formation/module you are using/playing. Every formation/module have it's key to success. It's like a living mechanism.
Well for me DMC is the most important position on the field. I don't give a damn about the other positions
Depends on ur game plan. If you wanted to go control the middle of the field and play steady possesion football, packing the middle with 5 players is ideal I guess. Don't think there is any "which parts are most important".

Agree with fmldotcom ... But tbh, in this game, a good goalscorer makes a huge difference. More than having a good GK, defender or midfielder.
If a must, I prefer a monster of MC, I have legend MC last 5 seasons with dribbling SA and he's been a monster, raking in at least 50-60 goals and assists per season. My team always have 6* GK, 7* DC, 9*MC, 8*AMC/ST and 6*ST. reason I say the middle spine needed as strongest because no matter what formation you use, those players always play, as for wingers, not always needed when you play formations such as 4-1-2-1-2 or 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2. Invest in players that will sure start in every formation is more practical.Quote:

I agree to an extent, I have good keepers, but some games I could put a cardboard effigy out and no difference would be seen...
But, I think it is important to have good strikers, especially in a competitive league where goal difference is the decider.
