Is it a waste if you buy a U21 token player without power train?

Buy a player on U21 will cost 15-24 token,is it worth for buying them but no do any power train on them? On the tranfer market we can find a far better player than our U21 player and we usually just need spend no more than 15 token to get them,what the point to buy a U21 player without SA? So is that U21 player just for those token buyer to buy and use power train on them to train those player till become a beast?Is it U21 not suitable for a none token buyer because we can use those token buy 2,3 player on market?

I've never signed any players from my U21 with tokens. use those tokens to sign better players

It's definitely a waste. If they constantly getting 4-5-6 rating then its even worse...

Why top eleven make U21 so expensive... :( It's need to be under 5 token, with your suggestion I think I will give up on buying a U21 player,Thanks

Of course! You could find/get a 18-19yr old (4*) for 1-5T on the market instead

Pretty much, the higher token ones are good but only if you have need of a backup for that role. The non-token ones if you have spot, sign & sell

Yeah, you just pick/buy one from the market with high value. The high valued youths from the market and youth academy are more or like the same.

if you can find such player on the transfer market then don't sign U-21 player but I am at the highest of my server so I can never find a player like that on the transfer market so I sign those players if they come early in the season.. plus don't forget that you don't have to pay cash for them..

U21 sucks.
I bought 2 players, first on level 2 (the one that comes free) and second on level 4 (the "better" one) and they both sucked.
They both got cartilage tear and they were out for 5 days, and that was on normal training intensity.
Also they seem to develop slowly because they never crossed the 3 star quality.
And finally, they are too expensive. I can buy 2 five star (or more if i am patient :D) players for that amount of tokens.

You've had a U21 player that was 5*??

No. But on my server there arent five star player on trnsfer market. And my u-21 have usually four stars and high trainer level.
