Whats the highest token bid war you've been in?
I just bought a 5-star, 34 quality, 25 year old, MC for 15.4Mil and 102 tokens, and that must be one of the worst deals ever.
But Im too stubborn to give up.

Most I've lost was 50 tokens, most I've won was 32 tokens.
How could you go for that long? Lining Nordeus' pockets with all that money lol... A 25 year old isn't worth more than 5 tokens in my honest opinion.

My limit is 35 tokens and have never gone past that as getting towards 50 tokens you might as well get a scout!

Believe it was 72T for a 18yr old DC/DL (fast trainer) back at lvl 4 on the B.B server..... nowadays I go topz 5 rounds on the B.U/B.C server.
23 tokens in level 2. 4 players non stop bidding, guy was 19 5* 29 rating, dc/dmc. I eventually gave up after 23 rounds, but i believe it went to 31 rounds.
Nope, its all about money. fantasize about it any way you want, but its a waste of money, because on top of the 102T you wasted, you were most likely gonna have to spend another ~24-48T to buy more money to get out of debt. that is the same as buying 3 scouts and you bought a 5* instead of spending that on 3 scouts. Stubborness is not a virtue in this game. I stop at 49T....always.Quote:

Yeh you can dress it up how u like but that was just silly. Think people get to caught up in it and it turns into who has the bigger balls than what the player is really worth. Youve effectively spent 10 pounds sterling on one player, even more if u need a bank loan to sort out your finances!
The guy with the biggest ball probably walked away after 20 KO rounds btw and the smartest guy when no where near a 25 year old lol.
I tend to go with my gut feeling (after checking out the otherguys team etc) id rather fold early and lose the player than go round for round and win the player only to realise what its actually cost me.
Used to go to 20+ tokens in my season 1. After that, I never bid more than 15 tokens. I usually stopped at 3-5 rounds depending on other bidders' styles. So far, I got a very decent young team which comprises of 5* & 6*.
Geez. The highest transfer was 23 Tokens, I'm on a great server with not that much bidding people and asians.
I had to reach KO round 42 once to win a 29 lvl 5* 23 yo ST with one-on-one. Nowadays I just go for young expensive gens and have little to no competition. But if it comes down to bidding I never go beyond 11 tokens cause the price gets too high beyond that point.
I've never paid more than 7-8T on any player in the market. You just know when there's 3 or more others bidding who are stupidly plumping numerous bids in each round, that it's going to go far, they won't give in. I'll find another similar player, or just buy a scout ...
I spent 41 tokens for a 5* player , 26 year-old. I know , 9 tokens and I could buy a player from scout but I have a problem. When I start bidding, I stop just when I win player or I remain without tokens. :confused:
Sometimes you're lucky and still pay only 5 Tokens even though there were 7 people bidding. I always check if there is a Token Buyer bidding on the player, if there is, I won't bid.Quote:
