Only 5, L5 teams in the competition, 2 of which are in the top group where we find last years beaten finalist CSKA Seb Takir.
CSKA Seb Takir will not be looking forward to the possible meeting again this season after the 7-0 drubbing dished out to him last time around. :cool:
Draw for last 16 of Cup, pits London City (lvl.7 & 49.6), against TTX FC (lvl.5 & 35.7).
Other match in my quarter is: Dinamo Zagreb (lvl.5 & 40.4), against Migliara53 (lvl.8 & 45.4).
So although my possible next opponent is a level higher than me, their rating is lower. So I have a reasonable chance of making last 4.

I don't think anyone can see their own players, who they are selling, on the auction list.

Maxmoo were easily the better team in the first half and suprisingly outnumbered Julio Quatros chances on goal by 10:1, But importantly they didn't make any of those chances count, It took 65 mins for us to make the break through, Zidane prodiving Papaleo for our first, L.McNamara's miraculous shot on 70 mins made it 2-0, Before Zidane smashed home our 3rd, Credit to our opponents and opponent manager for turning up to throw possession on his favour, but in the end the quality of Julio Quatro was the main difference, Fc.Didi lost 2-3 at home against Fc Sezer earlier on which in turn gives us a 7 point lead in the league.

15 minutes after the first match, we travelled to Turkey for the league match. We needed a win to regain 1st place and in the 12th minute we got off nicely from a Yedek strike. Petersen made up for his poor performance in the Champions League with a wonderful free kick into the top corner making it 2-0. Yedek got his second after good play from Petersen to set up the goal. Some hard tackles went flying in and Petersen got injured injured (how dare they). But then Yedek set up substitute Binder for 4-0 and a good performance.
Goals: Yedek (12', 49'), Petersen (22'), Binder (80')
I can't allow Petersen to be injured for 6 days... So I'm making use of red health packs :)
Early finish for me tonight, so time for some serious training. Managed to get King up to next quality level.
CL: Modeng FC (home). 1-0 (Tracey pen). MOM: Aaron Martin.
Uncomfortable victory over a team already eliminated. Win keeps me equal top of group with final match away at the other equal side. Winner will win group.
LGE: Pto Alcudia (away). 2-2 (Duran 2). MOM: Lukas Duran.
Good point away at previously 100% leaders. I was 2nd, but the 1 point gained actually dropped me to 3rd on goal difference. Pto still 5 points clear at top.
Ravers cruise to another win in the league moving eight points clear with second v third the next match up, both on 19 points but with second place a better GD of 10, I expect a second place win.; :rolleyes: though a draw would be nice. :D
22.40 next game up CL away, first leg was a 4-0 win.

Rudal Jaya 0-5 Julio Quatro Champions League Group E Round 5
Julio Quatro have already qualified and ended Rudal Jaya's unlikely chances of Qualifying with an easy win, P.McNamara was the star of the show in this game, not really been the big star at Julio Quatro since purchase from scout last season, he hit a first half brace, Novotny provided Top Scorer Kevin Mensah to head home just before half-time, Holvoet got our next from a P.McNamara cross and there was still time for Player-Manager L.McNamara to get the 5th for Julio Quatro.
Haven't posted for some days now and will get back to that very soon, just didn't had the time for it in the last days.

CL won 0-4 Tim Sherwood scores on his club debut after 1 minutes after Cid left the full back for dead pulling the ball back for Sherwood to let fly taking the keeper into the back of net clutching the ball in his chest. ;)
On 36min Shearer was given a through ball from Wilcox which he dully blasted into the top corner, the third coming on 46min when Tugay was given a yellow for tripping the striker but for some strange reason the free kick was given in Ravers favour, Shearer taking it quickly crossing high with Garner charging into the head in off the cross bar.
The 65th minute brought Sherwoods second when he met a Glenn Keeley corner heading into the top corner.
So at 0-4 and the game done and dusted three subs are in the process of the fourth official checking them over before being allowed into play, bang! Wilcox injured has to leave the field, wee Duggy was replacing him in any case, Keeley had had two close calls early doors after some early encounters with Bebo FC MC Caserosa who was also booked late into the game, Crompton replacing Keeley and Diaz for Tugay concluded the three substitutions, job done!, run the clock down and lets get home from this hell hole in Italy, NO! they were not letting us off the hook that easy on 86min Shearer is taken out of the game after a tackle by DC Egger, an early assessment by the medics say he'll be out for for two days with a sore ankle and Wilcox for four with a hammy.
Good results for the day soured by the injuries.

The big match. Could Rangers pull off the cup upset to advance to the round of 16?
All looked good at halftime, as the match remained scoreless. Both sides had opportunities but nobody could capitalize. In the 49th minute SV Eckerncamp scored to make it 1-0 (2-2) changing the complexion of the game. Now we needed a goal. Alas, it was not to be. Eckerncamp added goals in the 60th and 87th minutes to put an end to our upset dreams. Disappointing, to be sure, but we put a scare into a much stronger side.
Won league match 2-0 to stay atop the tables, Kupalang continues to shine.

Pointless Champions league match, played the reserves. Jhaylton FC fighting to stay alive played hard and we gave up only our second goal of the season in CL, but still cruised to a 3-1 win.
League game against the 4th place uss sermaize. It was one of those games. Statistically, we dominated, but trailed 1-0 at halftime. Players were exhausted. Checked tactics - thought I'd mis-set to whole pitch/hard tackling. Nope. Sent in two fresh players and changed formations. ST berezin gets two goals (55', 68') and things are looking noral again .. but then two swift goals for sermaize and we're trailing 3-2 .... prior to this game we'd given up three TOTAL goals in league (2 in CL, 7 in cup) Marzuki evened it up in the 84th, but despite pouring in everything we had nothing else would go through and we settled for a shocking draw and for the first time all season, we're trailing on the league tables.
On our way to Portugal tomorrow for a match against our friend, primary competitor and current table leader Nut FC.
Just picked up a bargain buy...
