CL: Steven FC (away). Won 7-1. (Flanagan 2, Mueller, King, Bayes, Duran, Gentile). MOM: Seamus Flanagan. Win, along with other result, guarantees me progress to knock-out stages.

LGE: Sean FC (away). Won 3-0. (Gibbs, Bayes, Mueller). MOM: Justin Harold. 3pts puts me into 2nd place in league.

Julio Quatro 5-0 Fc Brancos

Julio Quatro have progressed from Group E to the knockout stages with a fine 5-0 win over a dissappointing Fc Brancos who have been eliminated from the competition, Fc Brancos best chances of scoring came at the beginning of the game but R.McNamara and Vasko both put in a good performance in defence, Papaleo broke the deadlock on 24 minutes with a fine shot past the goal keeper, 3 minutes later and Novotny's corner came in for a Papaleo header for 2-0, On 32 minutes Papaleo on a hat-trick decided to wait and play to R.McNamara for 3-0, The second half saw Rocastle score from long range on 65 minutes and on 82 minutes the Papaleo hat-trick was complete with an excellent individual move. It was easily Stacey Papaleo's best game of this season so far.

Good day again for results 6-0 in the CL & 0-5 in the league to maintain the 5 point lead.
CL group stage as good as in the bag.
AS Roma who I mentioned will be in the final tops his group with 4 wins. Wonder where the final will be this season, need to start making the travel arrangements.

A training injury soured the end to the day, put a few players on three bars, has to be done sometimes.
Finally got my top ranked player 23yo Derek Fazackerley back to 7*, 9 days to gain 4 sp.
Also wee Brian Douglas was awarded 6* last night 24yo 3sp in the same time.
Three of my 3* also made 4* in the last two days Nafka the 19yo MC being the last 3* to move onto 4* after tonight's game.
Still four players nudging close to the 7* but it's painful for them.

Just shows how different players look at different levels. When I see your squad, Fazackerley is 5* to me and Douglas is 4*. I bet most of my squad look like world beaters to you.
