No player on flanks? That's definitely an illegal formation!
Is allowed but it is not good idea. Better avoid it.
Players out of natural position lose quality. Anyone know how much.
I've been asking myself the same question.
Is playing a goalkeeper out on pitch an illegal formation? I thought it was just the other way around.
Obviously the lack of wingers make it a moot point in this case.
it`s an abandoned team so that will be down to Nordeus to fix just as match start`s and you`l end up losing
I did not lose, won 0 v 3
I seem to remember in the old days ( lol) Hull City in the old div 4 used to have a sub keeper Alan Fettis. they used him several times in midfield , and a couple as striker to good effect,
Neither is actually 'illegal' in the sense of T11 automatic 20/80 possession.
GK in midfield is just an oop. Most likely result may be some player quality penalty (no way to quantify) and morale loss (observable)
MC (or other) in GK spot can *sometimes* result in 20/80 possession, but not always - never happens in tests, but has been observed many times in games. No idea why or what other specific factors trigger the possession penalty in that case.
Hey Andy.
Any format you see is ok.
But a team with such a weird format probably will have the ball only 20% or close to it, while a 'normal' team will have 80%.
Hence the team with 80% has a better chance to win.
